Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
(#1) Hot Chip was soooooo goooooooooooooooooood!!! I was (one person away from) front row center! (#2) My Morning Jacket was really fantastic as well!
Other highlights: 3. MGMT (much more lively than when I saw them at the roo) 4. Jonsi (wish he would have had some theatric stuff on stage, but the music was beautiful) 5. Eagles of Death Metal 6. Boys Noize 7. Interpol 8. White Rabbits 9. Afrojack 10. Rebirth Brass Band
Pretty weak festival overall, honestly, but the good parts were good enough that I'm happy with the weekend. I would be kinda disappointed if I hadn't spent so little money (early bird ticket + stayed with a friend + only corn)....

Ok so...
I DID NOT get to go to the fest once I got there. Definitely NOT my choice, but we had to sell our tickets once we got there b/c my friends and I didn't think about the money it was going to cost for a cab from our hotel and back. (We stayed in Gretna, again NOT my choice, my boyfriend seemed to think it would be safer... I never knew he was such a wuss.) Either way it completely messed up the Voodoo plans b/c no one had more than $80 dollars spending money except me, I brought $300. HUGE Bummer, and I pouted like a brat for an hour or so.. then figured, 'Well, may as well make the best of it' AND WE TOTALLY DID.
Ended up having a great weekend anyway.
Only thing is.. I left my phone at the Dragon's Den on Esplanade Ave. They STILL have it, however, they told me that b/c of their hours (they don't open until 9PM) the only way to get it back would be to have a local pick it up and send it to me.
If anyone in this thread is a local and wouldn't mind helping me out I would GREATLY appreciate it if you could swing by and pick it up for me. I'd be more than happy to PayPal you some money to send it back.
Thanks, and I'm glad to hear everyone had a great time!!!

Hard for me to make a list, but heres my top ten. 1. Muse 2. Die Antwoord 3. Street Sweeper Social Club 4. Janelle Monae 5. Deadmau5 6. Boys Noize 7. The Whigs 8. Innerpartysystem 9. Ozzy/Eagles of Death Metal (alternated between them so ill just mention both) 10. Metric
Can't really count but worth mentioning My Morning Jacket- I only got to see the last 3 songs, which sucks, because just those three absolutely blew me away. I didn't think they would be, but they were the absolute perfect way to end the festival for me. Wish I saw the whole set Jonsi- I saw him from a distance so I don't really wanna count it. This is by far my biggest regret because it sounded beautiful, but I let the people I was with talk me into keeping barrier for Muse :/ Weezer- Same as above, this set looked like sooo much fun
Also, hate that I missed MGMT and Hot Chip. Saw parts of Paul Oakenfold and the Crystal Method and those both seemed awesome as well. Interpol disappointed me. Hated Rusko. For local bands, saw some band named Ponderosa, they were really good. And this band called Fatter than Albert, they were a lot of fun. And Walter Wolfman Washington I saw while waiting for Janelle Monae, he was good. White rabbits were decent

bonnaroo is still the dopest festy and set up. voodoo had tons of styrafoam containers and i barely passed any garbages there!

Early early tickets for next year are for sale but you need a password. They didn't email anything so I have no clue. How do you get the password/what is the password?
You get the password yet? PM me if not...there are limited numbers of these EARLY early birds and a lot of people buy them up and end up selling them off later at the regular ticket price once the lineup is announced so I hate to just post the password out if you know what I mean....
Mehhh. If there are any scalpers on this board, send me a cut of your profits =p! The password is Voodoo2011. Prices are $75 GA or $250 VIP (which I haven't done at Voodoo, but it seems like a waste).
Lookin' at that GA ticket. How does it work? What shows does it get you into and which ones does it not get you into? Just some questions from a curious guy who might be tryin' ta do this next year!

I did VIP this year.
Definitely seems better than a lot of festivals VIP tickets (Though i have not actually had VIP at another festival, just going off what Ive read) purely because of the front row (Like for interpol, I walked up right when they were starting and had barrier), but at the same time, the crowd is a lot more tame in that area, which is good for some acts but can make things less fun for other acts. The VIP area itself was really nice for chilling out in and listening to the main stage acts from a distance, and it had a free massage tent and shorter drink/food lines which was nice, but it wasn't really worth 500 dollars (Though I got them early bird so 375, can't say if it was worth that much either)
For 250 it may be worth it but still hard to say. It'd be nicer if they had front row on the Sony stage too.
Eh not so much the scalping as the not very many tix at this price ....
If you guys want the cheap seats better get them quick...if I remember from last year...they will be gone before Thanksgiving....and DEFINITELY before Christmas.
bought last minute tickets for friday night, and was surprisingly satisfied (i've been to voodoo two times previously for all three days, and have always been disappointed)
absolutely loved the jonsi, metric, and muse sets, voodoo has really done a better job with their sound
