In '07 there were two empty spots between our camp and the next one. Of course, that was the year they totally effed up the parking and mixed RVs and tents.
Thanks Bunny! I figured that was the answer, but was hoping to hear otherwise since the whole greening effort of pushing the carpooling. Guess I will just hope we get lucky with space or my wife can sweet talk the parking attendants when we arrive.

Hi Texasdeadhead:
The bleachers do get totally full for bigger shows. I saw it happen just once last year for the Flaming Lips. There were a few people waiting to get in and the staff member was holding them until people came down. Generally, there is plenty of seating. You are kind of far back though, but you get a clear view which is excellent. Lounges usually have bananas and oranges. I do not remember free drinks (no water or anything else. Also, last year the lounge under the which bleachers was NOT airconditioned which made it even hotter than sitting outside in the sun. Enjoy!!!
For those who have received their VIP ticket packages already, is there a map and/or directions included for the separate VIP entrance to the camp grounds?
Yes, it's on the back cover of the yellow folded paper... it says to take Exit 105; R on Route 41; go ~9mi, L on Kimberly Lane (just past the Nissan dealership); sharp R turn then L onto Grosch Drive to the festival site.

Right on! Thanks so much to both of you! I cannot wait until that package is in my hands. Hard to believe it is only three weeks till I make my VIP debut!
I got the confirmation email and the tickets the same day...the email came in the middle of the night, and by the time I got home from work, the envelope was in the mail box. The neighbors probably laughed at my happy dance, but I was too happy to care! ;D
1. A/C'd huge tent on the VIP camping property. Inside there are couches, the food for those with vouchers, and professionals giving massages (by-the-minute cash price ... well worth every penny - I had two last year).
2. A/C'd medium-sized tent that abutts the Which stage bleachers. There are portapotties nearby - no VIP bathrooms.
3. Non-A/C'd tent on the VIP Hill with a view of the What Stage. Beer and water can be purchased here. There are VIP bathrooms nearby.

One of the things about VIP is that you get a different colored wristband. You'll be asked by a lot of people why your wristband is different. When you answer, "I'm in VIP", you'll get interesting looks! Best experience of VIP is late night. The walk home is easy.

I took a shower at 5am, 8pm, middle of the day never had much of an issue with long waits, barely any wait at all- depends on the time of day. Be thoughtful if there is a line and hussle a little, but there is no time limit.

Is there a dressing area in the shower trailer/tent/whatever so I dont have to get dressed in a wet shower stall again like the $7 showers in GA? Last year people I was with just walked back to the tent in their towels because there was no point trying to get dressed in there.

No, you are required to run back to your campsite naked !!! Just kidding..
The trailer in the past is designed with a hallway, off of the hallway there are the individual shower stalls. So it is possible to stop showering and dry off and get dressed before heading back to your campsite.
Note, year the AC worked on Thursday and Friday, not so much Saturday and Sunday.
Where does GA enter the festival in relation to VIP? im just curious if we will see the GA line or drive past it for photo purposes. they line up on h 24 right?
VIP enters just in front of the arch, so the walk from your campsite to the arch can be anywhere from 2-5 minutes, depending on placement.
As for the GA line, OOOOOH YEAH, you'll drive right by it and LAUGH until you take the designated VIP exit that nobody else is using.
Then your jaw will drop from the shock, and it'll be kinda hard to laugh then! But you'll drive past the GA traffic lines for about FIFTEEN MILES and with each car you pass, you'll be grateful you splurged on VIP.
No worries, man! She can definitely use it in the VIP area! The shower trailers are separate from the sink trailers. The latter is where you can brush teeth, do hair, and whatever girlie activities she can think of. It's all good! Heck, I might even want to borrow it!

I never received the e-mail confirmation and no one signed for tickets, either. I just noticed a package sitting on the counter the other day and, voila...wristbands were here!
So we get a box in the mail today. I open it up and it's a hair dryer. What's this?
Wife: "That's my portable hair dryer for Bonnaroo." Me: "Uh, I dunno how you're going to plug that in."
So VIP vets...what's the verdict? Do I (as I suspect) have to break it to her gently? Or does she have any chance of finding an outlet for her dryer?
HAHAHAHA. One year, I saw a guy fussing at his girlfriend...she was using the air mattress inflater to blow dry her hair, and he was concerned it'd run out of juice if they needed to use it to blow up the mattress again.
