Last year, my GF lost her phone (in what we thought was the grass), so we spent 20 minutes of the phish show looking for her phone. A bunch of spinners stopped to help us look, so much appreciated if it was one of you! Worry not, for her phone was in her boobs.
Is there really any better place to lose something?
I guess not! I wish I could lose stuff in my boobs.
Eh, I wouldn't get too worked up about it. Usually what smaller boobs lack in size, they make up for in perkiness and shape. Any girl who doesn't absolutely love the ish out of her boobs, is doing it wrong.
I started teaching myself to hoop a couple summers ago (because of seeing everyone at 'roo!)and at the end of last summer I moved into a place that has no room for indoor hooping and I really don't have much outdoor space either so my hooping attempts have kinda faded. Reading all these posts makes me want to jump right back in! I was still very much an amateur, but I loved it and can't wait to get back into it.

I lived in a downtown apartment with no yard when I first started, so took to the park. Having random strangers stop and watch can be a little intimidating at first, but you get used to it. Mostly people are just intrigued and want to ask lots of questions. I just stuck to spots with a few trees so I didn't feel quite sooooooo out in the open.
Even though I have a yard now, I still like to hoop at a park every now and then. It brings a new element to your practice.
I'll never forget seeing the guy with the HUGE hoop.
There's a local fest in slippery rock PA that I go to every year and a local hoop-seller brings one of those huge hoops and lets anybody mess with it. And it's fun. I take pride in being one of the only guys who will stand there in front of everyone and hoop with it
So, I ordered my hoop and have been practicing quite a bit. I like my hoop, but I was just wondering if there's any specific seller you guys really like? I'm already itching to buy another!
My girlfriend and I were hooping on the beach, and my son was with us. He picked up a hoop and could naturally do some fun things with it. I'm jealous.

Woah! Natural hooper! He has down the lasso, vortex and weave already. O.O

It's almost that time! What flow toys are you bringing? Does anyone use LED whips? Staves? I'm bringing gloves (totally new to it) and my led/regular hoops.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.

I don't hula hoop but I think those who do add a lot to the atmosphere created at these shows. Only thing that bothers me is people who hoop at night without some sort of lighting on their hoops. Saw several guys get slapped in the face pretty rough because they didn't see the hoop. LEDs for safety y'all.

So inspiration hit me at the farm, I'm working on my poi work, I'm struggling but I am hoping to be good enough by next year that I am comfortable enough to do it in centeroo. Any other Poi artists up for giving me some tips/hints anything to make this a smoother journey for me? I'm somewhat of a perfectionist and bopping myself in the head or leg or thigh is getting frustrating and upsetting me lol.

You'd be surprised how many people will ram you even when you have the most brightly lit LED hoop around. It's like one if those bug lights but for spunions.

I haven't been online much lately, but when I am I keep forgetting to share this story To thank me for organizing our trip down to Roo (from Ontario) my crew all chipped in and bought me a LED mood hoop Sunday morning!!!! I've been the happiest ever since and play with it almost every day! What a wonderful present.
