If you have shitall else to do, I suggest checking out Sidebar if you're into posh bars with good drink selection. If you're around me this weekend, you'll likely meet it's owner because he's a friend of mine. They make some effing amazing bourbon cocktails that they barrel age in house. And it's across the street from Galt House just about.

I've got a ticket to the late night show tonight, Wick-it and Eliot Lipp, but I was not able to make it to Forecastle. I got rid of my actual festival ticket, but still have this one. Is there anyone interested in purchasing it? I've got the e-ticket, so can email to you immediately, and willing to entertain offers. I paid $25 after all the fees and such were accounted for.

I really wish they would start replacing some of these acts. Camp Bisco replaced AC with Thievery Corp. there's no excuse for not booking a replacement.
And they also deleted their Facebook post because they started catching heat lol
That's really crappy news. I got a feeling we aren't getting a replacement for either.
Either way I had a blast yesterday. Big Boi was so much fun. And I had even more fun at Boyz Noise this time than I did at 'roo.
No doubt. I had an amazing time yesterday. Big Boi, Boys Noize, and SCI all were great, it was 1 big party. The size of Roo really made me appreciate how small it is here

Bummer that it's already the last day. Had a blast yesterday at Nosaj Thing, TOKiMONSTA, Kurt Vile, and Jim James. Still pretty upset I had to miss the Flaming Lips.

Ahhh, my phone got wet this morning while I was taking a shower, and it's out of commission. I had to use the hotel's business center to get on here. I guess I'll try find people inside the fest unless we happen to end up in the same place for brunch.

Hope everyone had a great last day yesterday. I ended up "working" which meant I got to meet some artists and drink bourbon with them. Favorite set from yesterday has to be Killer Mike & El-P, so much energy on stage and in the crowd.

First experience doing the complete Forecastle weekend and had a blast, even if I was dead tired Sunday afternoon from waiting in the heat through Bombino and Toro Y Moi.
Top 5 shows for me:
1) Flaming Lips - Love the new stage set up. Haven't seen them since Roo 07, so it was a welcome return. 2) Toro Y Moi - Amazing cloudy backdrop behind the stage. Awesome beats and energy for Sunday afternoon. 3) Boys Noize - Great dance party. Big Boi>Boys Noize>SCI was an awesome night of dancing. 4) Purity Ring - Really solid performance. I love their light show aesthetic. Minimal but busy at the same time. Thanks Phi for convincing me on this one, though it was an easier decision with no Animal Collective competing. 5) Tie: Avett Brothers/String Cheese Incident (night one) - Both headliners were super talented with a ton of energy. Perfect fits for both Sunday and Friday nights.
HM: Big Boi, Jim James, Nosaj Thing, Robert Plant, Forecastle Incident, Bombino. El-P & Killer Mike, MNDR
Disappointing: Most of Saturday morning. AMTRAC, Foxygen, Alabama Shakes were all kinda meh for me. The Black Keys were fine, but I was underwhelmed after the Nosaj Ting>Jim James>Flaming Lips that preceeded it. Overall though, it was a great weekend. For sheer comfort, convenience and the ease of crowd navigation, I might have legitimately had more fun at Forecastle than I did at Bonnaroo this year. The weekend wasn't as "epic" but it was consistently fun.
Man I truly love this festival so much! It's just so convenient in so many ways! I plan on writing a full writeup on website! I was pretty busy all weekend bouncing from show to show and was a little sad I never ran into any inforooer's, other than briefly chatting with debbie, and then outta nowhere during the last set of the festival, sparkling in glitter, LLL and Whoreshack appeared!

Sucks I didn't get to meet a bunch of you. Especially with my phone down for the count on Sunday, it was kinda hard to make it happen. I still had a blast.
Top 5 (No Particular Order):
Tokimonsta The Joy Formidable Purity Ring Killer Mike & EL-P The Flaming Lips (Only caught the last half of this, but still enough to make it on my list) Flaming Lips
