So, I'm only about 80% sure this is the Father John Misty thread, but if you've made the same mistake I have then you might like his World Cafe set. I love the album, but from all the recordings I can find, he's just amazing live.

I am 100% sure that we won't be missing FJM and also certain me and CKS may be wrestling each other for J Tillman! He's gonna run screaming when he sees us coming for him.
I read somewhere that Robin is a sober individual whereas, clearly, J. Tillman is not. Those Fleet Foxes tours must have been... interesting.
The Fleet Foxes live were fan-quacking-tastic. I saw them in their first month of touring, and although you could already tell that the guy behind the drums (J Tillman/Father John) had an awesome presence, the group gelled incredibly well. They didn't sex it up at all - maybe that's what the piece you read meant - but their cohesive dream-folk was one of the best shows I've ever seen. Robin (whose unmiked solo encore was terrific) and J Tillman certainly have different personalities, but such disparities are what take these types of groups to a new level, a la Richard Manuel, Joe Walsh, and Dennis Wilson.
Actually I meant that Robin doesn't drink alcohol or use drukqs whereas J Tillman clearly enjoys a cold one here and there. When I first saw Josh in interviews and heard the Father John Misty album I couldn't help but think their different opinions on the matter could've lead to some awkward times back stage.
I don't doubt whatsoever that Fleet Foxes were incredible live though. Everyone involved is super talented and they probably wouldn't have made it this far if it had been a huge issue.
