Somewhere (Amazon review or iTunes maybe) I read someone's comment that the singer sounds like an Adam Sandler Weekend Update song all through this album. Now I can't NOT hear it.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.

Saw these guys late last year opening for Grouplove in Dallas. They put on a good show and there were actually a good number of people in the audience who were there really to see them. I was thinking at the time that they might blow up and it looks like they're on the way.

i heard them for the first time this morning and thought the EXACT SAME GODDAMN THING
also, I am stunned that they are playing the B of A pavilion up here. Arcade Fire played there in August of 2010 and were headlining 'Roo 10 months later.
This will be a huge Thursday show. I'm hoping that Django Django leads into this. For me that would be the most epic Thursday yet. (for reference Soja->Moon Taxi->Big G->fuzzy stupor is the bar I've set for this)
Nice to see someone else is thinking THE EXACT SAME THING AS I AM!

Yeah, they seem to be blowing up out of nowhere super quick. By the time June hits, their tent might end up being more packed than the Sleigh Bells or Alabama Shakes Thursday tents were.

I'd say they've been pretty big for a while. I mean, they won the Mercury Prize and they made a bunch of year-end lists in 2012. I don't know, I'm not in the US so it's hard for me to see how they're perceived there.

I had never heard of them before the Bonnaroo lineup, but maybe that's on me for being behind. I like to think I stay current with things, but this one escaped me somehow.
Since Boston lost almost all of its good independent and rock stations, it has been a total crapshoot radio-wise, which also means that I have no real grasp of what is being pushed in New England in rock/alternative/indie stuff
I guess this is as good a place as any to have my first post.
I saw them in KC in December when their bassist was sick so they did a 3 man show. I guess this limited their setlist a bit because they couldn't play some stuff like Taro, but they were still amazing. I'm hoping for no major conflicts so I can see the full band at Roo. Django Django to Alt-J would be ideal.

Man, I saw them at the Masquerade 2 weeks ago. Killed it. They play the same setlist every night, but damn they put on a good show. They're not a rager, imo, but they are a really great show and would be perfect for the afternoon. Really awesome
