interesting observation. I thought I saw it on there earlier today, but if so, then they've taken it down since it's going to be adjusted apparently... Hmm... Hopefully they have a good solution and are very clear with the new update, whenever it gets here.
Ya it is still on there. In a smart PR move they just overloaded it with new news articles to bury it.
oh whoops! lol... *looks it up* oh! there it is... duh.
Updated: Wednesday 4/24/13: Fellow Bonnaroovians, When we say we are listening, it means we are listening, and here is what we heard: You did not like our new tent-only camping policy. No, you didn’t like it at all. We’re going back to the original policy: However you arrive at Bonnaroo (whether by foot or car), you may camp in the Tent Only area. As always, it’s first-come, first-served. If you come by car and arrive during really busy entry times, keep in mind that you might not be able to immediately access Tent Only camping. We’re always thinking and tweaking and changing Bonnaroo, trying to make it easier to arrive and more fun to attend. We depend on your feedback, so keep those cards and letters coming. Please use our Bonnaroo feedback address—we check it all the time: info@bonnaroo.com

I also got an email, this is what it said:
"Hi Candy,
Thanks for getting in touch.
You exemplify what Bonnaroo is about; people coming together from far away places for a weekend of friendship. It's thanks to fans like you that Bonnaroo is able to return to Tennessee each year. We value your feedback as we continue to learn and grow. We are taking the points in your message into consideration, along with the concerns shared with us by other fans.
Our department heads are discussing the topic, and you can expect another announcement about tent-only camping in the very near future.
We appreciate your continued patience and support, and thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.
I guess I'm the only one who is a fan of the new policy... As someone who has had to camp TO on several occasions and had trouble finding a spot, I don't find it ridiculous that they are making people camp where they park. Every year more and more people think "hey! I could camp a lot closer if I just leave my car and camp in TO" and they had to do something eventually.
this has been covered several times. So, if the problem is: they have created something that a lot of people like and too many people are showing up, making it too crowded. Instead of taking away what the fans obviously love, and instead of making it smaller and smaller year after year, why don't they make it BIGGER? They are not doing it to help the people walking in, they are likely doing it because it is easier and will make them more money with their Groop Camping malarky in the future.
If Phi agrees with you, you know your opinion is wrong.
Edit: it's changed back! yes!!! now for them to make it BIGGER!
AND LO, THE NATION OF INIQUITY HAS BEEN DELIVERED INTO THE PALM OF MY HAND...ASSEMBLE YOUR TABERNACLES IN ONE PLACE, O YE RIGHTEOUS, FOR HAS IT NOT BEEN WRITTEN THAT THE LAMENTATIONS OF MINE PEOPLE SHALL SET THE VERY PILLARS OF THE EARTH A-TREMBLE?
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.
post on facebook inforoo. Hey friends! Amanda here from AC Entertainment. Very shortly Bonnaroo will post an official message about the Tent Only situation. Basically, it says this: we're going back to the original Tent Only rules. Brunch is on! Thank you all for your patience while we sorted out all of the details.

I wrote them an email (although we're camping in VIP this year) telling them how upsetting it friends with plans. I am so happy to meet you guys at brunch. I would've been devastated if it had not happened.

I am so thrilled that they LISTENED to their fans! I think for the most part that we presented valid arguments against the change in policy, specifically, the timing of it. I can now go back to having happy thoughts about Bonnaroo and not aggravation which is what I was feeling for the last week.
