Damon Albarn being on the lineup has made me feel very musically ignorant. I had no idea who he was when I saw his name nor did I realize Gorillaz and Blur had the same front man. The Bonnaroo lineup enlightens me and expands my musical vocabulary yet again! Definitely gotta keep this in mind when the schedule is released!

And looking at his touring schedule at this point, Damon is a great catch for 'roo.

There are some many performers linked with Damon's career who will be at Bonnaroo as well, such a wonderful lineup.
Hoping to meet some of you there! My wife and I admire his talent and ever evolving musical styles and think that Bonnaroo will be his best show yet, that we've had the opportunity to see. Will great to share in this experience with other Damon fans.

Been wanting to see a Damon Albarn project for years now, and I'm loving the Everyday Robots stuff so far. Nothing is stopping me from seeing this show.

Everyday Robots Hostiles Lonely Press Play Tomorrow Comes Today (Gorillaz) Selfish Giant You and Me On Melancholy Hill (Gorillaz) Hollow Ponds Photographs Kingdom of Doom (TGTBTQ) All Your Life (Blur) -------------- Mr. Tembo El Manana (Gorillaz) Heavy Seas of Love
For a first gig, it was incredible. Set started off very mellow and melancholy, but ended in more raucous fashion, Photographs in particular sounding fairly explosive live. Kingdom of Doom was a nice surprise, TGTBTQ is really underrated. All in all, really pleasing. I'd keep an eye on the shows he plays in the next few months, but it's not much like Damon to switch up songlists to a great degree.

He's worked with Danger Mouse, Little Dragon, Bobby Womack, and others are all at Bonarroo this year, that would just be astounding if he joined the superjam.
I would expect him to do something with Bobby at the very least, who knows..
The adventure began when we bought our tickets - can't wait for the journey to begin now! Tripping down from Canada.
The BBC link posted isn't the full show - just the "highlights." It's missing a few tracks, I believe. Still worth it if you're interested to see what he'll be doing this year.

I am loving this new album. I've been missing out for so long. Was a fan of the Gorillaz stuff from years ago but never got into his other stuff and I'm kicking myself now. Anyway, can't wait to hear this stuff live at Governors Ball and Bonnaroo.
