Damon Albarn 2014

A tad intense but I think i'll have a good time.

CTE tours all the time, Damon is literally only in the US for a week doing Governor's Ball and Bonnaroo and a few dates in between. CTE will probably be fun, but you'll get five chances to see them before getting another chance to see Damon. Plus, do you really wanna see CTE on a packed Which stage? Packed shows never do well there.

If he plays slow country at Bonnaroo like he has been at some of his shows I will die.

Im probably going to wait for Damon pit now, was anyone else planning on doing that?

Don't love the new album either but don't see how I can miss this. Uh, he's been playing EL MANANA! Never thought I'd ever see that live. A bunch of Blur songs, as well.

Oh no!!!! Where is slow country?! That's my favorite and he had been playing it at other shows recently! I love the set list but I will be pretty bummed out if he doesn't play that.

DAMNIT! I really wasn't planning on going to this show due to the fact that I don't really like his new album, but look at all those gorillaz songs! I might go just for that reason.

crowd for albarn was horrendous. just throngs of people who clearly only wanted to hear the radio hits.

i imagine bonnaroo will be the same unfortunately. hoping his show tomorrow night will be loads better.

I lied. It'd be cool to hear Gorillaz stuff, but his solo stuff is boring (except for Mr. Tembo - I dig that one). I might use this time to wander around or at the very least catch some shade, since I'll probably be pretty tired from Friday's marathon at the What stage.

Wow that setlist that you posted is awesome. Seems like the throngs you were upset with should have been pleased enough with that amount of gorillaz songs. Also, how are you hoping for a crowd to react to the slower songs? I won't be moving much for LPP but I'll be enjoying it.

I'm not going to do any quoting and I don't remember who was giving me quite a bit of shit a few months back (you or flanz), but I need to point out that he has surely done more gorillaz than you guys expected. Outside of "dusting off Song 2, Beetlebum, or Dare" he's basically done what I was simply speculating/hoping for.

he really has.  im astonished but pleased with his choices. 

on a sidenote i think anyone ever expecting blur or gorillaz to tour again are fooling themselves.  this is entirely damons project, he can do what he wants with nobody elses ego to deal with.  seems entirely what he wanted all along.
