The answer is: who the f*ck knows. Since you weren't circling the field in a helicopter, you can't even try and say you could see the entire crowd.
Just stop about the crowd being SOOPER DOOPER BIG and say it was decently sized, but not everyone liked it. And if you want to throw a "Journey couldn't headline" in there (which, keep in mind, is something even Jess agrees with), that'd be sweet too.
you can't even see the left side of the field here, but you can see that we were at very back on a hill where we could see the entire crowd in front of us. if you want to stop telling me it wasn't a very large crowd, you can now. thanks.
Sang, you are not saying what he wants you to say! You are not agreeing that you should not want Journey to headline! And, on top of everything else, you are not conceding that the crowd you saw from a decent vantage point is not as as big as he thinks it was....from his vantage point not at the festival. All in all, pretty silly thing to argue about, is my point.
Can we just just go ahead and lock this one up? I won't if you do not want to. But it seems futile at this point.

LOOK AT THAT VANTAGE POINT!!!!
I know I'm a big bully and you have to disagree with me no matter what, Gibran, but isn't it entirely possible that Sang doesn't know what the hell he's talking about?

it's ok I know that he loves Journey and would have been rocking out with us if he were there. he's just jealous. you can lock it up though if you want.

Why lock it up? People making broad conclusions based on anecdotal evidence is a huge problem in America and this thread is highlighting that point. I think we could all learn a lot from this thread. But if you feel like censoring debate, be my guest.

are you talking about the guy that was there or the guy that wasn't. I'm confused.
Are you talking about the guy who wasn't there and is merely pointing out that drawing absolute conclusions from drunk memories is pointless? Or the guy who is drawing absolute conclusions from drunk memories?

See what I mean? Even the threads author admits that there are intellectual avenues left to explore here.

I wasn't drunk enough to not know my surroundings. now you're pretending to know how drunk I was. did I enjoy Waffle House that night? you seem to know more than I do.
I didn't mention Waffle House at all in this thread, Sang.
And you drank 2 bottles of wine, per your comment in the MM thread, so I assumed you were drunk. Apologies if you've got an iron liver and that sh*t just bounces off of it like bb's hitting a battleship.
Did you have night vision goggles? Or were the lazerz shooting into the crowd enough to give you that specific head count?

You still don't seem to get it.
the 2 bottles was the next night. but yea, even then I knew what the fuck was going on. I couldn't tell you how many people were at RHCP because we had a different vantage point. at Journey we could see the entire crowd. but if you would like to continue arguing about what I saw, carry on.

Haha very funny. Asking the OP to lock a thread and then saying I would not if he did not want to is far from censorship. But I know how people love to cast us EVIL mods in that kind of light. Good work.

You know me. Always protecting the little guy from BIG MOD.

Of course that is a possibility. My broader point being, is that worth arguing about? If so, then have at it. I do not understand, but that is ok. If it takes an ugly turn will just lock it up. **AHH !!!! CENSORSHIP ALERT! RUN FOR THE HILLS** but other than that, continue as long as the OP wants to.
Why do you keep mentioning a Waffle House? Very confusing.
And your comment proves you're an idiot. I have not once said I know how many people are there, I'm saying there's no way that you know. And you scanning the crowd does not count, it's like guessing how many jelly beans are in the jar.

You think this is ugly? You should see what is happening to Colorado Ron over on the Coachella boards for admitting he bought underaged prostitutes in Mexico.

Just wait until you find out that Sang bought underage prostitutes at the Waffle House.
what happens at Waffle House stays at Waffle House.
