The show was epic at Music Midtown, but I would want them to get a LN Which myself. Seriously though they put on a hell of a show at Music Midtown last Friday and I would go see it again.
This isn't even a good troll thread. This is just terrible.
It is not trolling at all, the show we both just saw was really good. I went in with low expectations and had a really good time, hell I had forgotten half those songs were Journey. Stone in Love, Don't Stop Believing, Lights, Loving Touching and Squeezing etc... It really was an example of how a band can overcome the cheese factor by putting on a really good show and giving it their all.
Live music is more fun if you keep an open mind, and like I said their show right now is very good. Better than any other dad rock band Bonnaroo has had recently for sure. (With a Macca exception).
Jess, you forgot "Don't Stop Believin'" was a Journey song?
No, but I had forgot that Stone in Love was, I was just listing the stuff they do. Honestly it is not like I am a huge Journey fan, but it is really great to see your expectations for a band that you think will be mediocre blown out of the water.

The thread where Jess accuses other people about not being open-minded about different music.
If I wanted to see Journey, and too be honest I could get down with that, I would much rather pay $20 to see them at the state fair than $300 to see them headline Bonnaroo.
you know when you go to a bar and everyone is drunk and there is a karaoke band playing 70's and 80's classic rock and everyone loves it and sings along. and when when you're in your car and you sing those songs at the top of your lungs. but whenever you talk about these bands you act like they are a joke and you don't like them. that all gets thrown out then window when you see them live. they're a good band, it's a great time. if you don't enjoy it, you suck.

Sang would go to a music festival headlined by a karaoke machine.

Sub-headlined by a cd player with "Now That's What I Call Music" on shuffle.
