The endurance that Belgium had this game is crazy. After both 15 minute breaks, they came out like a new team. We were winded by the end of regulation and never really bounced back coming into OT.

Man, if USA would have played the whole game like they did those last 20 minutes they would have destroyed Belgium. Still, an amazing game nonetheless. Belgium just outplayed us for the majority. US looked like a bunch of high schoolers during regulation. The difference after the US scored their goal was amazing. They looked like the game had just begun, no idea where they got all that energy and stamina from.

I have never been much of a football fan but this World Cup has been amazing! I have watched nearly every match minus the ones during Bonnaroo. Germany should handle Brazil easily since Neymar is out with that gnarly vertebrae fracture and Silva sitting out for his 2nd yellow card the other day. What do I know though, just World Cup fever talking.
I've been watching diligently at any house and bar that will welcome me in the past few weeks. I don't necessarily have a dog in this fight, though. I would have loved the US to progress, but watching Howard save our lives for as long as he did in that Belgium game was victory enough for me. Without him I reckon we would have lost a lot worse and a lot quicker. Happy to watch some intense games until the end nonetheless. I just hope these games stop ending in quacking penalty kicks. Horrible ending to any rough game, imo. To perpetuate conversation though, I'm extremely excited for these coming games. Both Brazil v Germany and Argentina v Netherlands should be great games to watch. What are peoples' opinions about who will win each? Or who hopes to win each? I, like bansheebeat, would be curious to see Germany and Argentina duke it out.
Argentina vs. Netherlands should be good. Argentina hasn't really impressed me so far (but neighter has NED); Messi will need to have a great game to get them through to the final I think.
