This is what I'm hoping for. I guess it's possible they could move them up a week, but I've been holding all my reservations for those dates. *fingers crossed*
Something I've been wondering, are there any benefits to going the 2nd weekend? Is it less crowded? I know the grass isn't as nice, but other than that I haven't heard much about the general differences from one weekend to another.
For these reasons: 1. Smaller crowds. 2. Improved logistics (all mistakes are made weekend 1 and staff gets the hang of it by weekend 2) 3. Improved sound quality (see reasoning for #2) 4. Easier to get tickets 5. You get to watch the webstream to help bust conflicts 6. You get an extra week to think about the schedule and bust your conflicts 7. Less Coachella hipster elitists!
Ok so here's my theory on why Weekend 2 has less festival elitists. As much as LA rocks and the people here are awesome... Coachella draws the such "omg I'm here just to be here." crowd. People will buy weekend 1 because in their mind for some reason they think Weekend 2 is just sloppy seconds. People actually had signs and banners that said "F!ck weekend 2!!!". LOL. Laughable.

Well, FlyLo said that Weekend 2 is the new Weekend 1, whatever that means.
French DJ David Guetta has recalled a unfortunate incident that according during his recent Coachella festival set, which forced the electronic artist to use USB sticks to complete his set.
Guetta, whose latest single 'Hey Mama' was released in March, told Beatport about the mishap.
Guetta recounted: "Something crazy happened to me on the [first weekend of Coachella]. I’m using Rekordbox and Pioneer to play, and before I saved my playlist to my SD card, my computer crashed."
The DJ continued: "So I just had to put all my music in a random order on USB sticks at the last minute, doing it really old school, scrolling to look for the records I wanted to play next."

Your brother Liam posted a picture of himself wearing a High Flying Birds backstage pass and the caption, "Keeping it in the family." Does he go to your shows a lot?
Well, it wasn't his pass. He wasn't there. It was my other brother's pass. If he'd had been at one of my gigs, you would've known about it because he'd have made his way onstage and started acting like a fuckin' gobshite. He's being a bit disingenuous to Oasis fans in the sense that he always gets their hopes up.
There was a rumor last week that we've had a gentleman's agreement [to reform the band], but that rumor's come from his people. It's a "source close to him," and I'll tell you how close it is: She probably wakes up with him every morning. It's always left to me in an interview to let the kids down. People say, "You're breaking these kids' hearts." Well, what the fuck, man?

Hopefully the folks working the international arrivals at Heathrow will have you flagged before you even get there and can intercept you upon arrival. "What's in the bag, mate? Hmmm, linoleum knife, zip ties, and an empty jar labeled 'Taylor Swift's tears.' We're going to need to ask you to come with us."
Ha, trust me, plastic zip ties I've found to be way too unreliable. Handcuffs all the way.

How many plaintiffs do they need to recruit before a judge certifies this as a class action?
What the hell is this going to settle for? (I'm asking this with the fair assumption that Frontgate/Coachella will not want this to go to trial)
Couldn't Coachella excuse themselves from this litigation, as clearly the ticketing is operating from Frontgate. AXS/Goldenvoice must have some smart lawyers, I find it hard to believe there isn't some contractual "it's your fucking problem" in the event of disputes or litigation. Why can't they just cut ties with FrontGate and move ticketing platforms so business can go on as usual.
Let's say Frontgate/Coachella DO want to defend this (after all, the policy is clearly laid out. Plaintiff had to know what they were getting in to, the warnings are everywhere!) what are their chances of a ruling in their favor. I feel like this "wahhh" sob story the plaintiff attorneys are presenting is a sympathetic argument and court would feel so sorry for them.
I hate this. Where's the presale. Homegirl needs to man up and acknowledge this is her fault for skipping over the warning signs (everywhere) and not reading her email when Frontgate warned her the tickets would be cancelled.

Makes sense, thanks for your time and response. You're the only attorney I know of to offer a legal opinion without first discussing your billing rate.
