This is my first Roo & we are driving down from Michigan (9+ hour drive). Do people that drive down on Wednesday typically get hotel rooms? Does anyone have suggestions about where to stay?

I got a hotel room that is one exit away from where Bonnaroo will be for the Wednesday night. I want one good night of sleep before we get there on Thursday. When I searched for a room when I bought my ticket in February, most of the hotels were booked. If you want a hotel room for that Wednesday, I say get a reservation now while (if) some are available.

We got a room at the Holiday Inn Express in Manchester for Wed. night just a few weeks ago. It looked like there were other rooms left too. Anyone else staying there the night before?

We're staying at the Country Inn & Suites in Manchester on Tue. the 12th. We have to pick up our Rv on the 13th and we just want one last good nights sleep and one last shower!! ;D ;D
I am going to make our reservation for the Holiday Inn for wednesday night tomorrow. Anyone staying there this night we should meet for drinks in the parking lot for a little pre-Roo festivities....If I was not going VIP, I would just go right in
we got a hotel room last year on wednesday night and it was awesome......we were in the jameson inn and it was right next to a grocery store and across the street from a liquor store, it was great to get a good night sleep and shower before getting in line on thursday morning......this year we're staying at the hampton inn in tullahoma on tues and wed night

I'm not sure when we'll be able to get to the hotel that day...boyfriend may have to work and that would definitely push our time for arrival back. If people are still in the parking lot, I'll come say hey! (I'm sure there will be a ton of Rooers there!)
we are doing the wednesday hotel thing too. i have no ide what hotel. its not a big deal to be that close to roo. im hoping we find something about 45 minutes away. i guess we should make reservations. but we probably wont. if all else fails i guess walmart will do.
i just got my rooms today for wednesday nite! knights inn in murfreesboro. right off 24 about 30-45 mins from roo. i got 2 rooms for $42 each! looks like they still have plenty of rooms left too. i hope there will be some more rooers in the area! anybody is more than welcome to stop by for pre game festivities!

Ahh I wish I had a hotel room. Nope my boyfriend and his brother thought it be cool to go from Tallahassee, FL to a rush concert in Atlanta on wed 13. yeah soooooo I've got to go to the concert and with no sleep drive all night to TN and then get in line for roo customs, set up camp at 7am on the 14th, cook and eat and then attend the afternoon activities. I hope to squeeze in a nap somewhere. I wish I had an air mattress. I'm not going to be happy thurs morning thats for sure. If you see a hot pink lantern next to a camouflage flag, yeah thats me passing the hell out. Help me.... *sighs*

*hugs* Thanks I needed it. I just set up my 4person tent inside my living room and I got excited. So that put me in a good mood. Karma to you too cause you feel me.
My buddy and I will be at the Mcminnville Inn, (20-30 outside manchester)
to anyone with bonnaroo experience- What time should I leave the hotel thursday morning to go to the festival? How long should I expect to be stuck in traffic?
also to anyone who still needs a room- the town of Mc Minnville had these hotels that I called with rooms still left Americas Best Value Inn and Mcminnville Inn
we will be at the Holiday Inn Express, too. Hope to see lots of people for drinks in the parking lot - if we get in on time wed night! I'm not sure how, but we actually got a room booked yesterday! Someone must have canceled...
Suggestion for you folks staying at the Holiday Inn, use the rear parking lot to rally and party.
Outta sight, Outta mind!! I will probably swing by Wal-Mart and the Holiday Inn on wednesday night (I will try to bring teine with me as well) to see who i can see.
Will the Holiday Inn group have some way of being identified as inforoosters????

We could have one car that we all look for...I will offer mine; I have a blue Pontiac Vibe with VA plates. My sis and I should be there in plenty of time too. I think we're going to bring a W&M (William and Mary) flag to fly over our campsite that I could drape over the back of my car too. Does that work for people?
Ok I belive we are staying in Murfreesboro the night before the festival begins. I believe we are looking at Comfort Inn. Anyone ever stay there? I don't really care if its super duper just as long as its clean. I can't book the room until a month before we leave because we are using our Comfort Inn points which I saved up. I now have enough to get the room for FREE! ;D
Any ideas folks on where to buy booze, shopping center for some food etc around that area? And I've read here that you don't take the first 112 exit off the I-24....... I go about 20 miles past that one and take another? I'm confused.

No that is wrong!! There is only 1 exit 112 and it is a temporary exit off of I24. If you are coming from murfressboro, you wont be able to directly take this exit off of 24. you will have to go past it, turn around and then come back on I24W. If you can get off at exit 114, get off there and turn around, you next option will be exit 117. they had those shut down for a time last year so good luck. If you dont make those exits, you will have to go down to 127 (I think) and turn around there, (Or they may make you take hwy41 from there) It all really depend on when you arrive.
