Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I really wanna do this! Love all 3 headliners. Charles Bradley and White Denim are great too. Not hugely familiar with the rest of the undercard, but I'm sure it will be great.
Some of the names I dig on the undercard include Galactic (New Orleans funk/jazz improv), Lettuce (More funk, and Eric Krasno is a great guitar player) and Vulfpeck (They'll be at 'roo this year. They're a minimalist, modern kind of funk band). Also, if you don't know Umphrey's, check out some of their mashups. They make for a good introduction for non fans.
Does anybody know why they've made it earlier? New it's just before Burning Man and I wonder if that will impact ticket sales. Don't get me wrong, when I was there in 2014 the most awful camping neighbors in my life has just come from Burning Man and I will not be the least bit disappointed if this keeps them away.
Also PLEASE bring SCI back. They were practically the house band two years ago!
Sorry to hear about your neighbors, most of us burners are good people. My group is taking a year off Burning Man to attend Lockn again.
Anyone have any info on staying at the Wintergreen Resort and using the shuttle? On the slim chance I can make this, looks like we'd fly into D.C. and go that route vs. 14 hour drive.

I'm a big Donna the Buffalo fan, too. Most of my friends viewed this round of editions as "meh," but I enjoy Moon Taxi and DtB, so I was pleased to see both added to the lineup. EOTO could also generate a more upbeat, dance'y late night, if they're given such a spot.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
They tell us "Rock'n'roll is the devil's music." Well, let's say we know that rock is the devil's music, and we know that it is, for sure … At least he fuckin' jams! If it's a choice between eternal Hell and good tunes, and eternal Heaven and New Kids on the fuckin' Block … I'm gonna be surfin' on the lake of fire, rockin' out.

No SCI, wsmfp, or moe. (but he wants to book them next year).
Gates open Wednesday this year.
They will have single day tix.
No Ratdog or Dead and Co. but a "no comment" on if any Grateful Dead members will be playing.
Next artist announcement in June.
Going to a turntable stage as opposed to two main stages.
Triangle stage is now "Garcia's Forest" featuring "all Jerry, all the time".
Others who won't be there: The Motet, Claypool Lennon Delirium, STS9, Little Feat, Warren, Greensky Bluegrass
1. Very nice on MMJ playing Saturday. If I opt for a day pass (which is the most likely for me) then it will work out nicely.
2. That's a rather big change going from two main stages to a turntable setting...how would that even work?
Sweetwater 420 does it on their main stage. Basically while one band is playing, the next band is setting up behind the screen. After the set, turntable rotates, next band is there and ready to play..

I submitted a request for a student ticket (tonight is the deadline). I know I will be in attendance all day Saturday...with a day pass costing $125+ last year, I figured i minus will grab all four days for $200.

Damn...I didn't get a student pass.
I applied last night, first time they ever have implemented a process like that. Looks like I will overpay for a Saturday pass or snag something on Craigslist.
Saturday is looking STACKED for my tastes. Moon Taxi, Hard Working Americans, Brandi Carlile AND Tedeschi-Trucks leading into MMJ?! Followed by Lettuce?!? If single-days become available, I'll be swinging down to VA for Saturday FOR SURE!
