This will probably be my only chance I get to see LCD and I'd love to hear All My Friends and Someone Great live. I never listened to them until the rumors of them headlining came and I enjoyed a few of their songs. I would be going to this show alone while my friends wait at Tame.
I've listened to Tame Impalas entire catalog dozens of times since the beginning of the release of Currents. Their show is my groups #1 and the main reason we're looking forward to come back to Roo and they're my favorite band at the moment.
I don't like missing headline shows and I know LCD will be great but being in the pit for Tame would be perfect. I plan on staying for M83s entire show before hand so I don't know how that would affect my place in the pit line for Tame. It would be my second put show ever after Griz early that same day.
Sounds like you answered your own question- Tame Impala. Friends, a chance to see your current band, and Tame will not disappoint. Watch M83, check out LCD from middle back for 30- 45 minutes, then get back to Which. Plus All my Friends is probably last on the setlist so you might need to temper expectations to get close to Tame if you are staying for all of LCD.
Check out setlist.fm to get a gauge on what you might see in your available time for LCD.

Since you love Tame Impala so much more, I think you should get in Tame's pit line, it sounds like you would have a much better time. I made that same decision at Shaky Knees by waiting nearly all day for front row at their show, and I wasn't disappointed. I had to miss Panda Bear's set, though. Like I said, it was worth it. The memories made at that Tame Impala show were incredible, the setlist was amazing, the light show was mesmerizing. You might be able to catch some of LCD, and also, they're showing up at nearly every fest this year. You never know. But Tame is going to be a PACKED show. If I'm remembering right, they've got more adds on the Bonnaroo app than LCD. That being said, I'm doing LCD's pit line then pushing my way to the front at Tame since I've already seen them. But given that it's late night, your friends love Tame, and they're one of your favorite bands, you should go for it.

Agree but maybe don't be a dick and push up to the front.

My strategy is to wait until someone else is a dick and pushes to the front, and then just kinda trail in their wake
Never hurts to have a good fullback. Just ask Emmitt Smith. I think you will find the paydirt.
This is gonna make me sound like an asshole but anyway, at Kanye me and my friend were right behind this dude that was like 6'5'' 250lbs pushing his way to the front and we got soooo close just following directly behind him.

You're such an asshole, following the linebacker through the crowd to get a great spot. How dare you? Who do you think you are?
Lizzo or Borns on Thurs? I really like Borns album but I have a feeling the tent will be stupid packed. Been digging Lizzo lately, just nervous how her live show is?

I'd say Lizzo. BORNS wasn't anything special when I saw him. That being said, I also am not into a lot of his music. If you're a big fan, you'll likely have a better time. I'd say a big factor should be whether you'll be at that tent already for previous acts. If you're already there, you'll beat the crowd so may as well stay. If you're going to be going there right before, probably a better bet to avoid a crowd. I've heard Lizzo is solid live so it definitely wouldn't be a bad choice.
In sum, Guess it comes down really to your specific situation, so I guess I'm not much help lol.

Not so much a conflict but who do I see? Ibeyi, St. Lucia, Public Access TV or Daughter? None of their studio stuff is really speaking to me, might just be sitting somewhere

St Lucia if you just want to sit back and listen to some fun music. That's what I'm doing.

I originally put St. Lucia on my schedule during that time but I've heard their shows are just OK.
I'll probably just bounce around during that time. First 15 minutes of Daughter, first 15 minutes of Ibeyi, then to St. Lucia, unless Daughter or Ibeyi really grabs my attention.

Was going to do st. Lucia but I might go see the David Byrne film instead. That's the only significant time segment of uninteresting acts during the whole fest for me

Same for me, I'll probably start with daughter and if they grab my attention I'll stay.

Daughter or Ibeyi. I've heard excellent things about both live

I'm actually gonna catch Public Access. They seem like a very strokes-like up and coming band. I also need a little Rock before seeing Kamasi, Lucius, and Leon. I'm considering leaving early though to catch the end of Ibeyi/snag a good spot for Kamasi.

Idk what I want to do. Part of me wants to see Wet for a little bit, and then see half of Twin Peaks. I saw Twin Peaks at firefly last year and I was blown away, but I'm digging Wet. It'll depend on how I feel after popadosio.
Half of Shamir or all of FIDLAR. I'm really digging Shamir, and had no intention on seeing FIDLAR, because I thought it was just noise. That was about a month ago, and now I just wanna go crazy and yell "I DRINK CHEAP BEER, SO WHAT F&CK YOU." Hmm

Was on the same mindset about FIDLAR before seeing them at Beach Goth this past October. I know I will not miss a single moment of FIDLAR this year. I say stay for all of FIDLAR. Just being in a crowd where you are all proud of being drunk and shitty is unforgettable.
Apologies if it's been asked before, but Kurt Vile vs. Saint Motel. I like Kurt Vile music better, but I also like shade.
I personally am checking out Saint Motel, I love Kurt Vile, but he was boring as the fuck when I saw him here a couple months ago. The crowd was WAY more entertaining. He did play all the songs I wanted to hear though.

I may just split time between them, or even cut out Kurt altogether to make time for the Wood Brothers. Probably will be a game time decision based on my level of heat exhaustion haha. When you saw him was it mostly cuts off the new album?

It was a mix, but there were a bunch of new songs on that setlist, more so than a greatest hits setlist.
Only thing I'm really trying to figure out it Father John Misty/Death Cab for Cutie/Lettuce. Lettuce would probably be the most fun, but by Sunday usually I'm not trying to dance all that much. I've wanted to see DCFC for a while, but honestly my interest in them has waned over the past couple years, and they're playing at What and I'll be directly in the sun - same with FJM at Which. Right now I'm thinking I'll just play it by ear and mostly just tag along with whoever I'm with at the time. My main questions are - is DCFC boring live (I could see this being the case)? What are the odds of Josh Tillman impregnating me with his voice? Is Lettuce awesome enough live to go see them mostly for the shade, even though I'm not familiar with their music?
