People are pretty outraged. Apparently they've been handing out hundreds/thousands of free tickets at Yankees Game and NYU - like just handing out the wristbands like candy.
I gotta be honest as someone who paid full price that feels like a bit of slight. Why would anyone buy from Meadows for this ever again.
Stuffing the place with casual people who just were handed tickets might not create the best atmosphere.
Honestly, aside from maybe a few of the bigger acts, are the majority of the people who were handed freebies really going to make that big of an effort to show up?
