According to their FB post, blind presale tics will be $130 + fees/taxes.
Likely will snag a presale for this. Was bummed I couldn't make it this year, even with being a rockstar and offering to help me out with an extra ticket.

My only goal for 2017 is to get you to Raleigh and do Hopscotch for the weekend.

This will be a blast though, I'm sure.
I'm mainly interested in this one due to the location. I went to this ren faire as a kid. And if my parents don't sell their house before then, I've got a whole house maybe 15 mins away from the place.
Lineup could be trash though, so we'll see.
I'll definitely keep Hopscotch on my radar though. Never really kept up with it before, but browsing the lineups from 2016 and 2015, I could see myself going to it
Edit: I just realized this is the SoS thread, not the Middlelands...
Just curious... was this festival worth the money last year? I had some conflicts and couldn't go, but the videos I saw showed a mostly empty space with a bunch of relatively disinterested people (at least during the non-headliner acts). I know a lot of folks who got in free and had fun... but... that's free.
(Not critical, I've never been to FFF or SOS so I have NO frame of reference)
In Bloom Festival 3/18-3/19 Houston, Texas Rock Werchter Festival 7/5-7/8 - Werchter, Belgium Mad Cool Festival 7/12-7/14 - Madrid, Spain Austin City Limits 10/5-10/7 - Austin, Texas
I mean i had a blast but im also one of those people that goes for free. The lineup was cool even though it was mostly FFF repeat acts, but they had to book last minute so that would explain why. Im sure they'll have a heavier duty lineup now that more folks know about it.
Last year it dropped on June 28th. Now that the reborn company has existed for a year and run 2 successful fests under its belt, I wonder if they'll be ready with some big guns or keep it pretty safe and similar to last year.
I'm really hoping for the national. They end a euro tour on the 7th and don't have another show until the 27th in the us. Might not be super likely but i think they're a possibility.
Grizzly Bear looking like a strong possibility based on the dates they just announced.
From a Reddit AMA (not sure why the lines are being put in Grizzly Bear's response):

Hey guys! Are you going to come to Austin, Texas at all for any future shows? Also Chris Bear, what are your inspirations for your drumming style? I LOVE YOU GUYS

Don't worry we love Texas and we are coming for one show that's yet to be announced this fall, but we'll definitely be back for solo city shows in the new year! Some of our fondest memories are wild and rowdy Texas Audiences. -Ed
Qotsa? I'm really surprised VooDoo didn't land them...
Eh, I don't know. I would love them, but they almost seem too big for this festival. I could see them at ACL though. Wouldn't a Shins-level act be able to though?
