Well that is great news for those Hulaween goers. I like the further information from Festival Owl:
I’ve been told to expect some scaling back. Less artists overall, music starting later in the day etc to help make the festival more financially lean as they move forward.

Yeah Mamby was between a rock and a hard place, which sucked. Hopefully it comes back next year.

That location is always tough, regardless of the birds. Promoters have held concerts and festivals at Montrose Beach on and off for years, and the locals always complain.
Skookum Festival @ Stanley Park Vancouver was supposed to happen in Sept but they just announced it was cancelled. Happened in 2018, then the decided to take 2019 and regroup for 2020 before cancelling out. Perhaps the nicest festival venue in the world within the city limits of a major city.
What interesting is the Pacific Northwest(Oregon/Washington/British Columbia) doesn't really have a modern rock music festival when 10+ companies have tried. Skookum/Squamish/Sasquatch/Rock The Shores(Victoria)/Pemberton/Virgin Festival 2007 & 2009/NXNW/MusicWest/Levitation Vancouver/Pabst Portland/Music NW Portland/couple Whistler events.
Plus Bumbershoot 2020 will be a shadow of itself after AEG completed it's 5 year contract in 2019 and gave the name back to the city. Rifflandia Victoria is still around, though it took 2019 off and has 2020 dates.
