I'd like to fill out a couple things but I don't have to. I have no strong feelings yay or nah.
How would this even work. People just randomly choose folks? That seems to go against the competitive/strategic reasons for doing a draft.
If we did it i'd prefer we just extend the draft a couple rounds but make them "lightning rounds" of 12 hours to make a pick or something. Something to make them go a little faster.
But i'm certainly cool with a little more time to do posters. They can be time consuming and i'm picky.

The way we did it in the other one was blind turn ins to Cdev, and then everyones gets revealed to review to make sure there are no already drafted/ineligible picks. That was done more to fill posters/schedules, here it would make sense for someone like King who is missing three jurors. He would just not be able to take anyone already picked.
and if everyone wanted for example Hayden Christensen (idk why I went there first) he's on the table for everyone.

Here are the publicity photos I was working on. I did this with Paint.net. Next time I'll pirate Photoshop first and it'll still look amateur, but maybe slightly less.

The best part is Campbell is a minor character and I've fooled around with that poster the most. Maybe second after the main one, which I worked with forever before decided it looked better stripped down.
I did mean to mention that you could make an extended universe out of other Vonnegut novels. Cooper starring in Mother Night; Oscar Issac and Mark Rylance in God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater. Hell, Rylance could be in like 5 or 6 movies. I mean, everything has an extended universe now.
I say no free agents. We all had a certain number of picks, and have been able to trade for extra picks all game long. If you still don't have everyone you need, tough luck - budgeting your picks is all part of the strategy of the game.
I could maybe do a 'drop one, add one' round, though I wouldn't make any changes to my film.

That makes a lot more sense! (And, yes, I recently rewatched the film when I was considering drafting Clue!)

Okay. I just realized that we had completed drafting! I'll update the OP tonight.
RE: Free agents. That was not part of the original rules so it needs to come to a vote. Please shout out a) if you're in favor of free agents and b) how many you think should be allowed.
Let's say we have up to 6 PM Eastern tomorrow to resolve the free agent issue and then we'll see where we are with posters for whoever is doing them. (I don't want to drag things out but there's no reason to rush this after all of the work people put in and, frankly, these posters could conceivably be much more challenging than the festival ones were.)
The rule change did not pass.
I still need responses from those of you who were tagged regarding outstanding picks and unspecified roles.
Also, how is everybody doing time-wise if you are working on posters?
I approve the free agent thing. I could use a couple more people to fill some smaller roles. I would like to also vote for time extension for getting posters made
