Shame I didn't think to remake the movie 'On the Nickel' (80), but re-imagine it as 'On the Nickel: The Chad Kroeger Story'.
The name Nickleback always reminds me of this bit from The Replacements (a movie that was done to perfection the first time and thus does not need to be remade):
Honestly, I believed that this would be a poster-free experiment given that the process of doing a movie poster is presumably significantly more complicated than a festival one. But there are some creative motherfuckers around here so it looks like there will be posters.
If anyone else has finalized ones, can you shoot them over to me via DM so that I know that you're done with them. If you're not doing one, a message would also be appreciated.

If I don't hear from you, I'll make a good faith effort to scroll through the last few pages and try and use your most recent poster, but no promises on that.
Did you decide that you weren't interested in that?
I was thinking of either adapting a book or play next. Or rebooting a TV series (maybe allowing adapting films for television)? Or possibly going old school draft format and drafting the greatest solo artists of all time. I have a couple other ideas as well but those seem the most likely to be interesting to more people.

Oh I'm interested. I already have a pick in mind (although it's a video game, not a book or TV series).

Since we just did remakes, we should rule out anything that's already been made into a film though.

I'm still willing to help some folks but it will be first come first serve as far as what I can get done tonight. Until then I will work on some touch-ups and alternatives posters.
