Well I was just gifted a ticket for being a best man, So I guess I’ll be there this year. This will be my 5th time. Pre Sale tickets are on sale and we got our initial lineup mid January last year. So looking forward to seeing the lineup pretty soon.
That Arcade Fire set was one of my favorites of 2018.
It was probably my favorite show of the year. I'd love to see them again at a festival.
That was my 5th Arcade Fire show and I was excited but I thought I had a pretty good idea at how it was going to go and holy shit did they absolutely kill it. It’s pretty amazing when a band you highly respect and love their live shows can still manage to blow you away. The energy at that show was top notch
I’m going Tame Impala/Vampire Weekend/ Florence/ Racontuers as official guess. I don’t see them going with a post or Travis or Cardi. Doesn’t really fit their model.

While I would die for Neil, I think he might be a bit pricey. Hopefully i’m Wrong

I’d guess that top 4 is a little stacked. Also I def think the same fest that booked Outkast or Sam Smith could book an act like that.

Raconteurs make a ton of sense for this. Agreed that after last year they're definitely trying to avoid big doses of EDM/hip hop and zag while other fests zig, but a few smaller names might pop up from those genres.
I could also definitely see Kacey Musgraves playing this as a 4-6 if not outright headlining, she's pretty huge in this neck of the woods

Just curious, is this based off of a lack of faith in the fest or are there actual dates that take all of these artist out of the running, specifically curious about idles

I’m not nearly as traveled as some are around these parts, by that was the best show I’ve ever seen. Certainly at a festival anyway.
It was announced around mid-January last year I think but not sure about this year. Seems like some of the 2016 lineup could repeat itself but I imagine they wouldn't want to make it too similar. But Deathcab seems possible again as do the Avett Brothers. Those were names 1 and 4 in 2016. Brandi Carlile also seems very possible and she was 9 in 2016. Honestly though I'd be fine with all those names because I didn't go in 2016 and like all those artists. Like others mentioned Kacey Musgraves seems pretty likely to be a top-5 name if not higher given the headliner pool this year.

i think tyler childers will 110% play this this year. he did 2 sold out shows at headliners and 3 sold out shows at the palace in 2018. huge fucking deal in kentucky. i don't see how ac wouldn't have them on their radar this year unless he has conflicted dates or something like that

He's already got 3 sold out nights the end of March (25th-27th) in Covington. Dont know if that helps or hurts his chances. Covington and Louisville are like worlds apart in terms of KY

i didn't know that. if it's sold out i'd say he could still get booked for forecastle. he's a major draw in his genre right now and sells out everywhere he goes. i'd say he's still on the table and likely
