Nope...nothing I really care about. Legitimately may not attend a festival this year. Bought Coachella presales since thought 20th anniversary would really be something special then sold them. Got a free bonnaroo ticket from fancorps but Friday was only day I was excited about so ditched it as well and now Forecastle has let me down too. I'd actually say I prefer Bunbury for Run the Jewels to what we have here. So disappointed!
Lol can't imagine anyone preferring Bunbury to this.

It'll be a pass from me this year. Props to .Paak for starting to headline regional fests; I'd totally go see you if there was anything else good on your day

I appreciate that they tried to bring a different vibe to the festival, and there's a fair bit I don't know. But what I do know is extremely hit and miss.
The good: Killers for a regional fest like this isn't a bad day. Anderson Paak - I'm just meh, but its interesting at least Chromeo, Jungle, Noname, Hop Along, Tyler Childers, Chvrches, Andrew Bitd, Lettuce, Denzel Curry, Sunflower Bean
The bad: the Avetts, again. Nelly is pretty questionable considering the rape allegations. Judah and the Lion, the lack of anything I care about on Saturday.
Yikes...was looking forward to finally making this festival but this is a hard pass. The Killers are a very fun live show but the other 2 headliners are underwhelming.
They may need to look at moving the date of this festival because they are missing out on way too many bands who are in Europe at the time.

Man. That's kinda rough. Saturday is a ghost town. I'm a little old I guess, but is Anderson Paak big enough to headline? Still, there's enough to like on Friday and Sunday to make this a solid weekend in Louisville, considering how relatively cheap tickets are.
But then Cage the Elephant, Beck, and Spoon announced a show in Cincinnati so I'm throwing all my money at that instead.

I wonder if the downfall of Sloss hurt booking for this year. The past two years they shared a lot of acts, and I imagine that was a big selling point (hey, play two shorter fest sets and get paid a bunch in markets you might not otherwise hit).

Cage + Beck + Spoon would be the most exciting acts on this lineup (besides .Paak)

i was wondering that about nelly too. he's been almost cancelled for a couple of years now and it's not like it's a strong hip hop act to book but i guess middle aged white people will dig it

overall i like this lineup. not love, like. if i didn't live only an away from the festival in indiana i'd be on the fence about going but since i'm close i'm going. a lot of good stuff that wasn't on the bonnaroo lineup like hop along, noname, tyler childers, portugal the man, playboi carti and calpurnia. also boa's a sweet local act i highly recommend. they actually played a show in the pods next to my campsite a couple of years ago lol

I'll be there no matter what as I live here and love the fest, but I agree -- like but not love. Janelle Monae or Vulfpeck on Saturday would have made all the difference for me. That said, Avett, Tyler Childers, Dawes, Lucius, First Aid Kit, Chvrches, Portugal. The Man, Maggie Rogers, Moon Taxi, The Killers, and .Paak all have me excited.
The Beck/Cage/Spoon concert announcement hurts a bit though. Would have loved to see any of those at Forecastle.
Pretty much all of the major acts on this have played Bonnaroo the last couple years. It's a long way from saving tbh.
Its not so bad if you (like me) haven't been to Bonnaroo the last couple years.
There's a lot to like for me on Friday and Sunday. Saturday is just a total wasteland.
I'm probably in attendance and doing Clean Vibes again. It was really chill last year and I saw 90% of what I wanted and got a t-shirt for $25 total. Can't beat that.

Lol, this line-up won't kill the fest. Not even close. Facebook comments love it.
Killers, Avetts, Tyler Childers, Maggie Rogers and Portugal the Man will easily sell this thing to a decent number. If anything, I expect it to be more crowded than 2018.
Forecastle's personality has changed 4 times since 2011. This is just the next change-up.
