Some radio stations have been teasing a concert announcement for Monday at 10 AM and this fest is announcing their lineup at 10 too, so they could be correlating.

Funny enough, ALT 92.9 in Boston has been teasing a “major” announcement for Monday at 10.
An alternative radio station personality in NY has been teasing one too.
A venue in my hometown has been teasing one for 10 as well.
I did see a tweet from 97X in Tampa about an announcement at 7 AM though. It seems to be Bastille. Usually, radio stations are correlating with a band on a universal time though.
So, we’ll see. My guess is one of the top performers of this fest is announcing a tour at the same time. I’m praying it is AM.🤞🏻

Yep. He's been listening to a ton of AM and Vampire Weekend ever since the VW show got announced. I'll text him tomorrow

I'd buy it. Killers/Avetts dont do a ton for me but Paak would be a great booking. Might have to pop down for that day if the undercard is solid

jeff isn't playing any shows for "a long time" after this weekend, so i wouldn't expect him on any fests

when i said i found something that confirms her, what it was is i got an email from live nation with a subject line like "See Vampire Weekend, Travis Scott, Kacey Musgraves and more in your area" and when i flipped through the shows it recommended me it had vw and travis scott but no kacey BUT forecastle was on there so i assumed that the reason my subject line referenced her was because she was playing forecastle

Yeah, seems silly to go to such an effort to lie about something like this. They would have to look up every artist people have been asking about and make sure there are no conflicts before saying yes. Then again, this is the internet.
I'm making a mountain out of a molehill here, but bizarre that Forecastle's social media team would use the phrase "golden hour," the name of one of the top 5 albums of last year, in a tweet leading up the announcement. I know it's a common phrase and all but shows a lack of awareness because literally everyone thought it was a hint at Kacey.
Anyway, Portugal. The Man is happening, so that's cool.

I asked about Brockhampton, and it's a no, but was told, "There's 1 other rapper I'd bill in between Paak and Curry. I'm not a rap fan so I don't know how interesting they are lol. Also 1 hip hop artist from the 2000s people will love."

Nope...nothing I really care about. Legitimately may not attend a festival this year. Bought Coachella presales since thought 20th anniversary would really be something special then sold them. Got a free bonnaroo ticket from fancorps but Friday was only day I was excited about so ditched it as well and now Forecastle has let me down too. I'd actually say I prefer Bunbury for Run the Jewels to what we have here. So disappointed!
