...and they just posted that dumb Justin Timberlake meme to troll. GV can be pretty lame sometimes.
They’re fucking trolls. I don’t understand why they enjoy releasing set times so late.
I'm sure She Wants Revenge's agent is knocking down Paul's office as we speak DEMANDING they get bumped up from 3:25 PM on the third stage while The Rapture's manager is pleading his case for a sunset slot.
Oh, nope, they just like doing this for some reason.
Lmao Goldenvoice is literally terrible with set times. I might buy the whole "GV wants fans to discover the lineup" for Coachella but for this fest...nope.

Leaked schedule was correct, GV finally posted their IG story. Louis XIV is now playing Saturday as well, but an earlier time (swaps times with Shiny Toy Guns). All of those right column acts are listed under one stage with 5-minute turnarounds (the "Strange as Angels" stage...I see what they did there). Do they have a rotating stage like those radio shows use? Only way I see that working. I need a map of this thing.

Yeah, a map would be nice. You can see the Tropicalia map from last year if you download the Tropicalia app (a pain, i know,) where there's 3 stages. The main stage on one side, and 2 stages side by side at the other end of the grounds. Kinda like this 2017 Tropicalia map but without the fourth (Modelo) stage: blogs.dailynews.com/music/files/2017/10/laidoff002-1024x666.jpg
The set times being oddly short for some of these bigger names is not ideal, but I like this structure much more than a ton of direct conflicts, and it allows me to see some of the second tier acts I was hoping to catch. Really looking forward to Saturday.
Wonder if they were going for three stages and only got permitting for two or some weird thing like that? Sounds weird that the plan all along was booking so many acts for 25-30 minute sets.

It’s 3 stages. The second stage is 2 stages next to each other that will alternate
At the 1:30 mark you can see the set up with the empty stage on the side
Huh, interesting. The crowd shuffle for each alternating set should be interesting as well.
While Saturday will be more crowded (Friday isn't sold out), I'd like to hear how efficient the entrances are from Friday goers, as well as shuttle lines at the end of the night. I'll probably eat lunch beforehand (sorry, Tokyo Police Club), but I'd also like to not be stuck in line forever when I arrive.

To be fair, the only thing left are Tier 1/2 VIP passes. I don't expect the capacity to be too different.
But yeah - I'll be Inforoo's Friday plant for the fest. Will report back tomorrow night.

Friday tickets are stupid cheap on stubhub right now. If I liked Phoenix or Yeah Yeah Yeahs I would be going, but it's not worth the hassle for just Beach House.
First Thoughts: Unbelievable how much GV messed up entry. There’s maybe 3-4 shuttles running, a line that’s thousands deep, and everyone complaining about missing STG.

Sounds like every Day 1, Weekend 1 of Coachella I've ever been to. They suck at having all the logistics and staffing ironed out in advance.
They also probably also way underestimated how many people were going to show up early to catch all these acts who aren't currently huge, but really appeal to the demo here. Hoping they resolve it quickly and get things ironed out for tomorrow.
