Apologies if I missed this, but have we explicitly defined what Psych is? For all the talk about how loosely defined Alternative and Indie are, here Psych has just been cruising along without purpose.
People are trying to make a lot of jokes about this, but in the end we all know that Psych is an American detective comedy-drama television series created by Steve Franks for USA Network.[1] The series stars James Roday as Shawn Spencer, a young crime consultant for the Santa Barbara Police Department whose "heightened observational skills"[2] and impressive eidetic memory allow him to convince people that he solves cases with psychic abilities. The program also stars Dulé Hill as Shawn's intelligent best friend and reluctant partner Burton "Gus" Guster, as well as Corbin Bernsen as Shawn's father, Henry, a former detective with the Santa Barbara Police Department.[3]
Evil forces at play here to kill metal late at night
I don't really have a horse in this race - I love both Disco and Metal - but if there were any shenanigans, I'd almost say it was on the side of trying to save Metal. Disco was up by a couple of votes at the time the polling is usually closed...and when I woke up this morning at 7:30 AM and immediately checked Inforoo Survivor (always the first thing I do when I wake up), the poll was still open and the vote margin had shrunk. There was ample time for a last-minute save.
If y'all are gonna complain about classic rock or funk being here still, maybe vote for that instead of disco?
i'm surprised at how nihilistic i am about this whole survivor now. i don't care anymore what goes or when it goes, but at the same time i won't be able to stop participating in these threads. henceforth my votes will be rooted either in spite or chaos. it's like a brand new doomsday.
Spite and or chaos does not work with this crowd. You need a long game plan. One steeped in years of on line strategy and military training.

i know classic rock has to go eventually, but remember that Levon Helm and The Band and the song "Ophelia" happened. Levon was such a pure good soul, and played with such a natural swing and groove. always in the pocket.
i'll always love the close up over the shoulder camera shot on Levon Scorcese chose for this performance. something about this video always makes me deeply emotional. you can just feel the pain and exhaustion and chaos and finality of it all.
