My friend just ordered this canopy 15 x 15 with shipping for $53 bucks..seems it has great reviews and it cost twice that at local stores here (ie. Target/Walmart)
Thanks! I just got one of these too. There are still a few popping up at the price. Just keep Ebay searching for "Coleman 15 x 15". We should see these things all over Roo. Look for mine in VIP.
I'll look for you and the canopy then, I'll be there too

Guess I'll be number 3 in VIP, then......perhaps we can all help each other setting it up!
Right here! Organized Canopy Setup Sqaud, I can help you setup but by Monday I may not be prepared to take anything down. They should let me rent my campsite year round, and I could have small festivals periodically.

***Geosport Canopy Review w/pictures***
Time : Approx 5-10 min, give or take there were alot of distractions and easy. I was able to setup by myself.
Canopy: Mostly white with blue accents, its extremely light weight and you may want to consider bringing a tarp/sheet for extra protection. Nice high canopy will keep heat out, create added privacy using sheets or tapestries.
Comes in bag that easy to carry, but I don't think it will fit into an overhead compartment for those flying.
=Instructions are sewn onto the side of canopy so you can't lose them.
= Canopy comes with guy lines and stakes, guy lines are not required.
= Build the top of the frame and attach canopy before adding the legs
= Today is was raining and windy, the wind vent really works
= I found it easier to remove the poles if I twisted while I pulled out of the connecter
Anways, here are pics...let me know if you have any questions;
I'm a little concerned about the lightweight comment......are you saying that it won't offer much protection from rain/sun? And I'm not too keen on draping an ugly arse tarp over the top of my canopy. Among other things, I would imagine that it would interfere with the wind vents.
Maybe I could cut out a circular piece from a tarp (with a hole in the middle) and place that on top of the canopy frame, BEFORE stretching the canopy fabric over it. That might give us a little more protection, eh?
Damn, groovlogik, thanks for the review and pics, too! My Geosport is on the way. Looks like it's going to work out pretty well. Now we just need to get a tent to put under it.

Well I can say it will offer good protection from the rain, even with the air vent. It was windy and rainy here yesterday so I couldn't really test the sun factor. The color and height/design of canopy should greatly reduce that heat intake though. I'm 5'10 and I don't even then I had to duck walking under the canopy. I recommend bringing an extra tarp just in case for sun and sideways rain storms. This is my friends canopy and if I have the chance I will setup on a blazing hot day and report back to you guyz.

I bought one of these and most people on these boards have this one as well. I haven't used it yet, but they say it lasts all weekend and works very well.

I saw that fan at target and walmart for $13 dollars. You can also order it online through ace hardwear. It requires 8 D batteries. I got one for me and my friend's tent. It can lay on the floor or hung. Its a good purchase.
They have great prices on a lot of stuff really. Hammocks are wicked cheap; LaPaz is $11.97 there....97?...whatever, it's $12.00.
personally, I'll be making my shower dealio with a hula hoop and a tarp (just like an imaginary Christmas, I got a hula hoop!)
we were at a sports store yesterday and saw a pretty good set up but it was 75 bucks ... it was more like a tent with vents and big enough you could put in a porta pottie just in case ... i think we are going to pick one up soon .. cr*****
BUT, Target has some pink travel captain's chairs ($7) and small coolers in their ad this week. You can go to www.Target.com and look at the 'weekly ad,' or do a search for "pink" in Sporting Goods. Had just been doing my weekly sales paper ritual, saw these, & thought of you. ;P

Ok so now that I've listed I'm in the bugitary stage... so I'm looking for the best deals, as well as the best places to buy things like five day coolers (preferably with wheels if i'm going to tent only even if someone may scam it), I've looked on e-bay but all I find are returns or overstocks and I have no experience with e-bay so dont know what results this will have also things like camp chairs, and well basically everything (nothing from wally-world please)

Look in places like Big Lots. I've found some outstanding deals there.
If you have doubts about Ebay look at their feedback it'll tell you alot and ask the seller questions, overstocks aren't a bad thing they'd just be last years model or something like that. Ebay is like Kmart, you have to shop smart but you'll find some good stuff.
whenever i'm looking for something specific i always check ebay first. If nothing else it's a good for product research.
