Becca - I remember seeing that top somewhere and really liking it, but I have issues with strapless tops so didn't get it and now I can't remember where I saw it. Where did you get it?

Okay, I think I saw it at Nordstrom then. No remorse - it is freaking adorable and you'll probably wear it 100 times
Thanks for the input, dcbee... I just read a whole different forum on Ortho Lo... I've had every symptom that was mentioned on there, and never realized that it could have been those pills! I thought I was just messed up...
Looks like my stomach might be okay for Roo after all!!
Becca, that shirt is really cute... I cant wear those, I hate how my boobs look in them... LOVE it though!

I just had to add this to the thread - my new hideous crocs. i've been lurking and lurking and reading and doing research. i NEVER understood these - especially the beach line- and the mary janes seemed moderately ok but i couldn't find them in the fushia color so i found these: the last pair in my size.
aren't they hideous!!!
p.s sparklybecca - ty for the tip on forever 21, i popped by urbn and i saw that store right nxt door - i dropped in out of curiousity - they are having massive sales. i found a few cute skirts and shirts that were on sale for uber cheap and they were cotton and comfy. the skirts had pockets too.

becca - from my graphics knowledge, the girl in that picture looks photoshopped. she has no crease where her arm meets her body. I don't care how thin you are, everyone has it. And graphics peoples love to touch it up. Either that or they just pasted the top on. The shadows on her chest are just not right.
So don't feel too badly about it. The shirt will look better on an actual woman.
It's verrry cute.
And I don't find crocs ugly. But I guess in terms of traditionally "pretty" shoes you wont see a ton of those at roo anyways. At least I hope not.

i like the swirls!! they are fun. i have an old pair from a few years ago, just a boring khaki color. I really want the mary janes, i wish i didn't already have a pair..

indigo - i'm a big fan of ugly beautiful. y'know - when something is so hideous you adore it just because it's uniqueness makes it all the more endearing. it's like steve buscemi - prime example of ugly beautiful, at least to me (^_^) .
i found the adorable uglies @ dillards - i went to a camping store and almost bought the chocolate ones, i really wanted either the silver or fushia ones. i left the last size 8 on hold and i figured i'd check dillards - they were mentioned as a distributer in the crocs website. they had the same exact ones but in pink tye dye and in a 6. i asked the saleslady if she could check stock and she came back w/a 7 in the pink swirly and an 8 in the ones i bought - last pair. they were meant for my footsies ;D
anyway - so if any of you pretty peeps are a size 7 or 6 and like those - but in pink swirly type tye dye mary janes, go to dillards in altamonte springs FL. they have them there and ask them to check stock too.
i was so happy! i'm going to somehow find a way to function this into my corporate wardrobe somehow. crocs really aren't big in florida unless you are in the medical field. lol - i'l lwear them when i have meetings. who can be stuffy in those ?

well i finally did it - cut my own bangs... they're not perfect but i dig em... also got some imitation crocs, been wearing them for a few days and they seem just as comfy as the real thing
Maybe the reason BCBG didn't hire me as a visual merchandiser is because I don't look like an alien and I have armpit folds... hey all good, I only fit into like 20% of their stuff anyway.
Love that top though, tres cute!
When I was on seasonale the doc gave me a prescription so I never had to go off it. Same with NuveRun (da ring, yo) that I have been on for a tad over a year and LOVE LOVE LOVE (though maybe TMI but it's not way up there so it can be felt if you know what I mean...)
Never saw that post, thanks! Yeah I was a VM for Express a couple years (end of the 90s-beginning of 00s) and then left because it got into regular retail BS. Went to Corporate America and have missed it ever since...
Maybe it's why I am daily drawn to the girly fashion thread!

i tend to stay away from this thread because of the "girly" title. but i saw VM, and had to chime in.

I had a question for you crafty ladies out there. I have a white cotton skirt i bought at Target for like 5 bucks. It's got pockets and it's really cute, but it's white! Even when not a Bonnaroo i try to steer clear of white clothes because im clutsy.
Anywho, I bought some Rit Dye in dark brown to dye the skirt. Has anyone used this? I would love some advice. Is it easy to do or am i going to ruin the skirt?
I think we bought THE SAME skirt - a huge happy poet skirt with nice big happy pockets? that kinda makes u want to get an easel and be bob ross and fill the pockets with paint brushes? really comfy? really going to get dirty when you go out and play in the dirt and mud? LOL
i'd say get some acrylic paint and splatter it. i was thinking about doing it. it's so ... white.

I am going with the bra too, Mo. Not looking forward to the hot TN sun and underwires but c'est la vie. I have a few light ones that are cotton, I don't think nylon/polyester will be much fun.
On a side note for anyone still looking for clothes last minute, I saw some cute sun dresses at Wal-Mart today when I was picking up my cooler. They had a few different styles and lengths and not that much money.
Old Navy also has some cute tops that I am going to pick up.
And Modells sporting good store had rather unattractive but probably comfortable 100% cotton gym shorts on sale 4 for $20. Maybe not the most fashionable things, but probably pretty comfortable/breathable.

i saw those kariza thingies at the mall, they were really pretty but a bit pricey (considering how much i've already spent!) and the salesgirls were too pushy, i couldn't even just look at the different colors without them throwing one on me and tying it 50 different ways lol... maybe i'll look on ebay after roo
