I just noticed lastnight that I don't have enough shorts! Dern! I think I only have 3 shorts that I can wear to Bonnaroo. Well I'll head off this morning for the last minute shopping needs. Everyone has much pretty skirts but bummer for me....... I really don't wear them. If I feel I haven't bought enough clothes, can I get more stuff at Roo? Will I be able to find shorts?

back to menstrual matters: anyone have experience using gladrags / the keeper / the diva cup at festivals? (if those terms are unfamiliar, i HIGHLY recommend looking them up. a regular ol google search should do the trick.)
I was wondering something similar. I use Instead (which are AMAZINGLY cool, ladies, and available in my local drug store; look like a plastic diaphragm, but keep things in, instead of out). I'm hoping it won't be an issue, while I'm there. But if you're asking about using something other than tampons, I LOVE using Instead. Pop it in and you're good to go for at least 4 hours on your heaviest day. When things are lighter, I leave it in all day, before needing to attend to it. Rinse it out (which can be awkward and messy; you'll need to, ahem, retrieve it, dump it and rinse it) and replace. Finding the privacy and ability to do that is my only concern. They say you're supposed to change to a new one each time you remove it, but that seems like marketing to me. I use one per cycle, rinsing it each time. Sold in boxes of like, 10 of them or so. One box obviously lasts ages!
And to anticipate a question I get from all the friends I've turned on to this, yes, it LOOKS like a diaphragm. NO it is not birth control. Don't make that mistake. However, HUGE upside is that if you're traveling with the boyfriend (or get lucky), sex is easy during that time of the month. They can barely feel it if you have the thing in there. And no mess unless it is dislodged during activity. Other than that first, heavy day, I've never had that happen.

i think you could find shorts? they maybe tie die and have flowers on them though!
Nothing was more exciting this weekend than trying on all my Roo-worthy duds and deciding which ones to take. Yee-haw!
As for hats, I found great ones even at K-mart, got a $7.99 cowboy hat that looked cute in the mini mirror on the sunglass stand, loked stupid at home so it will be worn by my husband who wants to make sure I don't tell anyone he's wearing a "girly hat."
I will be wearing a floppy crushable straw one from my mom that is a bit dented, but does the job!
I went over lastnight to our Fellow Roo Roadtrip friends, and this guy is talented beyond belief, I've never done transfers before but he found beautiful artwork and incorporated Bonnaroo into it! So kool. Now I have a tank top with a beautiful angel with butterfly wings on the back. So KOOL!

hey girls... so. i got my henna tats today, one on my hand one on my back, the henna quality is not that great tho it looks orange and i was hoping for a darker brown... oh well what can you do right? i still think its pretty - maybe ll take pics

Welcome! It is kind of quiet right now cos everyone left already. If you have room then you can never pack too much. I took way too much stuff my first year at Roo so now I can gauge it a little better I think.

So Ladies...I thought I would open this back up...any cute pics of you in your new Bonnaroo digs? I packed a shitload of clothes and ended up wearing almost everything I took....glad I "overpacked" as everyone kept telling me...hope you all had a GREAT time...I had the best weekend I've had in a very long time.

Yes, yes I did! i saw him in Baltimore earlier this year and was psyched to see he was going to be at Bonnaroo and slithered in under the tent. Here's a pic of me at that show (looking nice and sweaty). Where were you? Would have loved to meet you, I ended up not meeting any Inforoosers, kind=a stuck with my posse.

I was up at the front right and am in front of the guy wearing the green shirt and behind the girl in front of him with the white shirt. I was a in green and white shirt sandwich! ;D

I don't think so... but so many people were such fans in there, it was a cool experience. All except the girl sitting below where I was standing... she was having a rough go at it and her friends were telling her she was a buzz kill. Poor thing, she looked too dolled up and probably had no clue what she got herself into coming to Bonnaroo.

The girl in front of me (white shirt) kept saying it smelled like a fart in there. (duh) She also kept talking during the ENTIRE set before they all left and made a huge hole of quiet that I was grateful for! You can even see her talking in the picture!!!
Can I jsut say OMG about my giant pinuparoo photo. I can't see Imageshack and other photos at work, so I pulled the photo from my blog (where it was tiny) and uploaded it completely blind. Came home and OMG OMG OMG I am a GIANT! Well, you get lots of outfit detail!
