Here's a snapshot of our camp from 2011. The lanterns and lights add some ambiance, and the big cooler made a good coffee table.
Sadly, I didn't get any good snaps of the 2012 camp. Must have been in Centeroo and asleep most of the time. Groop camped last year, and it was great. Going to do Groop Camping again this year. Look for Camp Roonicorn.

should be flying the American flag with the indian on it (in my avatar) at our campsite again, along with a "Its Hockey Night In Pittsburgh" Flag, and two other flags that someone else in our group is bringing. although that flag^^^^ makes me want to get a little more creative. on top of one of our flag pole we will either have a light or the big rage stick topper that i made. we'll know in like 10 days!
Here's our site from this year. Camp Awesomesauce: 4 cars, 9 people, Pod 4. Pretty good set-up, though it sure seemed like we didn't have a lot of space when we first got there.

First post and first roo! This was our camp this year. It's all about the hang guys and girls. Silver tarp on the east side and bed sheet on the west (removed for pic).

We had I think around 9-10 cars and about 30 people total in our campsite. We had 4 EZ up put into a large square and then also made more shade by setting up of tarps with some extra poles. In the back of the photo you can see that we also had 5 tents or so, but people also slept in the beds of trucks and even set up sleeping bags under the EZ ups as well.
Here is a group picture from all of us on Sunday afternoon. This is also my avatar pic.

Here's the entirety of my camp:
I slept beneath a dinosaur battle and the front of a car. Ants bit me at night. I used mats and a tarp to block out the sun while still getting a breeze. On the ground were mats and a roll of carpet with a fan and pillow. The mats at the front turned out to be the ones my dogs sit on. For a couple days I thought I just reeked that bad 'til I realized what I was smelling.
Next year I'm upgrading to a shade canopy and more monsters for the battle.
That looks great swerve! Where were you camped? The grass looks especially lush.
Does anyone have pics of camp inforoo from this year? I can't believe I never managed to take a picture of my campsite.
Thanks! We were camped near shakedown street, I wanna say Chewbacca but don't remember exactly. We were camped right behind the light up wire.com vendor guys.
I was pretty happy with our site this year... it was my first out of state festival, so really i was just happy we didn't forget anything! Also my first time having flags, which to my delight withstood the random wind gusts throughout the weekend!
My bed inside the tent that i got mostly to myself
I have an entire plastic tub of LED's too that i decorate with, this year i added a chandelier and the peace sign string lights! I was pretty happy with them! !!!!! The red lights were multi-functional, they provided light, but also made sure we didn't run into the rope that was holding the canopy in place.
At one point i thought my chandelier was going to blow away!
That's pretty rad, how were you powering the LED's? And that chandelier is a nice touch!
Thank You! sorry, i'm just seeing this. they're all battery powered. i've gotten them from a bunch of different websites, the only one i can remember though is christmaslightsetc.com, they're under "battery powered mini lights", but i found them cheaper on another site in more colors too, i can't remember the name though....the peace lights and chandelier are both a random find from odd lots!
Last year we got there around 5-6pm on Wednesday night, only had to wait in traffic for maybe an hour or so, and we were in. I loved our set up. We had a fence to our backs, and a fire lane in front of our tent, so we had plenty of room. We were over in the Mad Men named area, and there were a lot of people camped back in the woods which looked pretty sweet. Probably a 10-15 min walk to the Arch.

I'm glad someone bumped this. I resized my images. Hopefully they're not ginormous anymore. I can't see how big they are now bc I'm on my phone. But they were huge before, I know that.
