So many good shoe suggestions! I went with Tevas at first and started to blister, so then I just went with running shoes and ruined them. May try the Croc or Sanuks. I'm so confused!
do these fit pretty true to size? and do they hug your feet? i dont want to order them and then have to return i also dont want them slipping up and down to give me blisters....
yup. jus bought my crocs today..hehe.would of liked to get sanuks but like she said. funds are a little short.. and idk how you can get much comfier than crocs!! ive always been a naysayer about the crocs. but i finally just give in..lol. thxs for all the help!!
Got a pair of vibram five finger classics this year after feeling lackluster over doing flops or crocs again like the previous three roos.. I think I'm finally set, these things are amazing.

fake walmart crocs had seashells from florida hometown beach cutting into the ball of 1 foot, put them in the plastic recycle friday and bought Rope sandles from the Nomadic State of mind booth, i wear them everywhere now
^^lol. My friend bought me a couple pairs of cheap old navy flip flops....I was blistering the first day. So I forked over the $35 for the rope sandles...love 'em! It was actually cheaper than it is on their website I came to find out.
I ended up going with the old pair of sneakers. (I bought them in 2007, seen nearly daily use till earlier this year.) Except I bought a pair of Dr. Scholls gel inserts on Friday morning.

I just bring my year old gym shoes and write them off. I pick up new trainers on the way down to Roo so that I have a fresh clean air for the ride home. On the clear sky days I get one of my pairs of Birks out and if it gets wet, Rain boots are a good plan as well
after experiencing bonnaroo, my final answer on shoes is no shoes. which surprised me, because i am generally an avid shoe wearer. So for centeroo during the day i would wear flip flops until i got to centeroo and them stick em in my pack and i'm good to go. i would reccommend tennis shoes at night tho, since you can't always see where you're steppin and you'll prob be at packed shows getting stepped on.
Ok onto my question/reply. I will save you guys the picture (unless people really want to see) but it seems I have some sort of allergic reaction to the grass/hay that is all over the farm. The parts of my feet that were exposed (I was wearing tevas so a good portion) ended up red and puffy, and itchy, and painful. At the Wilco concert there was a nice nurse lady who gave me benadryl and ibuprofin. I ended up stopping at the medic tent on the way back to the site to get some hydrocortisone balm.
Any suggestions on what I should do for this year? . . . .
The same thing happened to me. . . but I had no medicine to make my feet feel better. By the time Sunday came around I couldn't stand on my feet for too long b/c of the pain and swelling. This has NEVER happened to me before. . . is there anything I can do besides wearing tennis shoes (I am a die-hard flip flop wearer, my feet must be FREE!) to prevent this from happening again??
