ALO = yes. Ben Harper = maybe. (I think Jack will take a breather after his current tour(s). Why? Because he said he would.)
I predict the big news of Rounds 4 or 5 will be the addition of: Pearl Jam Sufjan Stevens Flaming Lips (late night) Tweedy solo The Go! Team The Moving Units
--- P.S. If Pearl Jam, than Ben Harper. Just a thought for a reprisal after the New York gig together that they've been wanting to repeat.
I'd love to see the Go! Team and Danger Doom do late-nite sets. Sufjan, Arcade, Lips, Ryan Adams, Wolf Parade and Jenny Lewis would also make me very happy. I don't think Tweedy or Wilco will be back, but that's just my opinion.

I don't think PJ will be there, for a couple of reasons: A.) They would probably want a headlining spot (as far as we can tell all of them are taken up) and B.) They said they wouldn't ever play another general admission show again after there were ppl killed at rockslide(i believe that was the name of it)
My hope is the Flaming Lips a late night show by them would define the weekend if you really think about it, their show would be so far out there.
Very few bands can put on a concert that fits into the Bonnaroo scene so well like those guys To be honest, I don't know of anyone I'd rather see. Although there is one band in the back of my mind, but I can't remember who.
I have a gut feeling that the next big artist addition will be Willie Nelson. His Canadian tour ends in mid May and he has not yet listed any summer dates. He was on the initial Wiki list and was scheduled in 04, but had to cancel....I am also holding out hope that this won't be the first Bonnaroo without Warren Haynes in some form. Derek Trucks has a break in his tour with Clapton in June, so maybe we can get some ABB, but I don't find it likely
I would love if Willie played roo. He has always been one of my favorites. It would be cool if he kicked out some reggae tunes and maybe a gay cowboy or two along with all his classics. Willie is the man, there is nothing he can't touch. I would love to see Tenacious D as well at roo
When I saw Willie in June last year on his tour of minor league ballparks with Bob Dylan he pulled out Still is Still Moving to Me (his duet with Toots Hibbert) and Harder They Come by Jimmy Cliff, both off his reggae album...it was a pretty damn good show.
Don't underestimate the potential of a Pearl Jam acoustic show. They have done G.A. shows, just in a very different form. Watch for something unusual here. And Roo is just the place for something unusual to take place (far more than any other current American festival).
And we know all the headliners aren't taken up- even before Round 3 a promoter from Superfly said at least 4 major acts were yet to be announced. I'll take Sonic Youth is one of them, but we still have big names yet to drop.
While a Pearl Jam show would be great and all, I think that is VERY unlikely. All the headlining spots are filled, Tom Petty, Radiohead, and Phil Lesh all have it on their websites that they are headlining one of the 3 days....that doesn't preclude more big names, but the headliners are all booked.
Do you think the people at Superfly have these acts signed and are intentionally holding back on announcing them all? If so, what would be the purpose in doing that - trying to generate a bump in ticket sales each time they throw one of these announcements out?
Or are they still firming up agreements with these groups? Just wondering if anyone has any insight...
Hehe... I think to drive us nuts.. my guess some are firmed and others are still in negotiations. I'm sure some are forming summer tour plans and seeing where they can fit.

Well, I have a feeling I'm just too hopeful in wanting VOLTA and after round 3 im almost out of hope lol. I mean no one truly remembers that show. I've never heard anyone speak with certainty about it lol. They should realized this and try to bring them back so we can all wake up again and go, "What the hell did VOLTA do to me last night?"
And I definitely agree with the person about Willie. Why not Willie? Come on over and spark it up with us and sing us a jig.

I could see Mule and possibly string cheese, most definately Keller one of these rounds... Willie nelson would be sweet and theres alot of hope for the Flaming Lips out there so we'll see... All of the above COULD happen potentially...
This is probably a longshot, but he is starting a tour in the US in June. I would like to see Maceo Parker added and Polyphonic Spree. The Spree are releasing a new album in July so maybe they will try to create some hype before the release.
