I doubt Yonder will play because of their involvement in Telluride, and here's hoping DMB stays away since they are playing Friday and Saturday in NY. Allman Bros. will be right next door in Chatanooga on Bonnaroo weekend, so maybe they will show up. On another note, ween just signed up for the AllGood festival. Wikipedia had David Gilmore, Black Crowes, Porno for Pyros, and Red Hot Chili Peppers posted under bonnaroo info today, but it was removed promptly. Gilmore is already playing that weekend tho, and who knows about the rest. Just my 2 cents.
Where did you see that the Allman Brothers would be in Chattanooga? I can't find any dates after Wanee for them or any after Wakarusa for Govt Mule...I really wanted to see ABB at least once this year, whether at Bonnaroo or not and I don't think they have any tour dates since Derek is playing with Clapton and Warren will be opening for Dave Matthews
Pearl Jam would be perfect in the spot that the Black Crowes had last year. Late afternoon roughly 2 1/2 hrs. Either that or a late night slot on a main stage like Primus had a couple of years ago.
I doubt either the Peppers or Janes Addiction would be added. Perry has his hand full with Palloza growing this year and after the last reunion they decided to go seperate ways.

"Bonnaroo has said it is in negotiations to add an additional 16 artists to this years lineup. Rumoured artists to be added include: String Cheese Incident, The Flaming Lips, The Allman Brothers, The Shins, Sufjan Stevens, Fiona Apple, John Mayer Trio, Thievery Corporation, Queens of the Stone Age, Ben Harper, Danger Doom, The Roots, and Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins."
direct from wikipedia... and I think it all is legit and feasible... cheese is a must because coming from the jam scene a lot of my friends would rather do 10,000 lakes or wakarusa this year.... I know.. they're insane, this bonnaroo lineup is already the best they've ever had and is only going to get better.... I am so stoked for at least 30 of the bands already... I've seen Phish a ton, but Radiohead is probably all and all a better live band
ABB, Cheese, and Ben Harper heal the jamfans The Shins, Fiona Apple, John Mayer Trio, The Roots, and Queens of the Stone Age give the festival more names and more roundness
and Theivery Corporation and Danger Doom are just fucking sick and will make a ridiculous late night tent
Dude, I hate to be a bummer, but we've seen that entry approximately 18,000 times in the past few months. Also, anyone and everyone can edit Wikipedia entries, so it's hardly a reliable source. That's probably nothing more than someone trying to be clever or post their own wishlist. Welcome to the board though!

Sorry about that ... I haven't seen it yet but I honestly do think it sounds like what they would possibly do... especially cheese, abb, and ben harper.... I'm hoping for a keller incident like at 10,000 lakes but I doubt it'll happen with all the other great stuff going on... I saw the Keller Incident at the first bonnaroo from like the front 5 rows and it was spectacular.... the funk from denson called me during set break though and I definitely made the right choice.... that late night was the highlight for me... watching ben harper was sweet too

Oh don't get me wrong, it's certainly something that COULD be in the works. I just just don't think there's any real information that went into that god dam*ed wikipedia entry.
I'd like to see the Allman Brothers. Oteil Burbridge rocks. But I think I'd like Gov't Mule even more. I'd be content either way and wouldn't miss either.

Porno for Pyros and the Chilli Peppers? Ugh... i hope thats a rumor...
Amen to that, porno for pyros would be ok, but perry does have lolla to worry about. But does anyone remember woodstock?, the chili peppers burned that f*cking place down, we cant be havin that at the roo.
well first of all what happened to the main stage late night show... the dead did it in 04 but none in 05... seems like it would create a couple spots for big names, and beck would fit nicely there, willie nelson would be sweet, and he was scheduled to play roo in 04 but pulled out cuz of carpal tunnel, even though they were there last year id love to see jurassic 5 and john butler again, i think rhcp and pj are unrealistic at this point, maybe vegoose, im hopin for tea leaf green, maybe some two gallants and string cheese, and ill be surprised if we dont see flaming lips
ps i hope sonic youth dosent open the show with 20 minutes of feedback again, i wasnt there but heard it was quite retarded and forced alot of ppl to leave last time

The Dead in '04 were scheduled for the headlining spot but pushed into the late night time due to rain, so I don't think we'll see anything like that scheduled.
re: Sonic Youth, I think you can probably expect 20 minutes of feedback in there somewhere, and it won't bother me if it clears some space
Ben Harper is touring Japan from June 2-9. Then he's in Europe from June 22 on til July 9. From that, you can draw your own conclusion. My conclusion is that he'll be at Roo. With the new album coming out, and his love of Roo, I would be shocked if he weren't coming. I just hope we don't have a bunch of jackasses yelling out during the acoustic numbers - but that's not going to happen from my experiences.
I am praying for a Warren Haynes solo set. His '04 solo set was incredible - and I think he should get up with Radiohead to do Lucky (unlikely).
Actually his solo set was in 03. But yeah it would be great to see again. Everybody has brought up some great artists to be added. My next four would be Xavier Rudd, The Flaming Lips, Ben Harper and Keller Williams, but the only artist that has to get added is Warren Haynes. It just wouldn't be Bonnaroo if Warren wasn't there.
If only Superfly would read this board. Only then would they realize how much Volta needs to come back and how much they rule. I think it would be a good idea despite the "no repeats" semi-law thing. A lot of people missed that show and heard how awesome it was, I think they deserve a second chance because Volta puts on more than a spectacular show. And come on, how many Latin acts are coming? If it comes to playing the diversity card, I'll throw it down. BRING 'EM BACK!!!!!!
Anyways, Cheese does need to come as well. Dane Cook needs to be at the comedy tent and we also need Lotus. Any Lotus fans out there?

I should get some Lotus cause i keep hearing about them all the time and they sound great. Im gunna try and catch them at Wakarusa depending on the schedual... Yeah it would be odd without Warren or Keller...
