And the babies are doing really well! One of them is kind of obsessed with me and the other is obsessed with them so they're basically always with me if they're not sleeping. Which is kind of annoying but certainly better than when they were frightened of me.

This is Carol. She’s been with us a week now, and we’re planning on signing papers in a couple of days. She is very timid, but she’s learning that this is a safe place and starting to warm up to us. She’s about six and has been at the rescue most of her life. She was adopted out once before, but she bolted and was on the run for two months before going back to the rescue. We just love her!

So we had a by chance situation to rescue Stumps sis and we took it. Her name is Hazy and she’s loud and obnoxious and has small dog syndrome and I love her more every second. We’ve been together for a week now and been camping and met more dogs. She had never seen a cat before and it’s one of the best things I’ve witnessed. She’s a sweetheart. I’m now filling the house with ramps so she can get up and down off couches.
Probably the best thing for her brother as they’re bonded and won’t do anything without the other now.

They are so adorable! How he’s snuggling up on her leg is too much!
She is adorable. Have you had a play date yet? That’s when I feel in love and the nerves started to set in.
Nope, just sent in the application. Waiting to hear back. My biggest concern is Tyger since he's a bit of an asshole, so I hope if we make it to the playdate they get along.
Well Taco Belle's listing was taken down. We haven't heard anything so she must have been adopted. I'm mad that I procrastinated until early Sunday to fill out the application. When I saw her Friday I knew she'd be adopted fast.
I guess it was for the best. Not sure how Tyger would handle another dog and still missing Maya fierce. Plus, idk if I was only wanting that pup because she reminded me of Maya. Oh well.

Chin up. It sucks but when you find the right one, it’s magical. It just wasn’t the right time.

james after a long run. he's really settled into life with us and is a very happy dog. still prefers the lady to the man but i'm OK playing second fiddle. we are pals.
She is 7 weeks, 2lbs 1 oz and the runt of the litter. Norfolk terrier/pom mix. The owners are reviewing applications tomorrow, hoping to meet her tomorrow or Tuesday with Tyger.

So we are approved to adopt her. She can come home with us after the 5th. We are trying to go see her tomorrow.
They called my vet, we had to take Tyger for his allergy shots today. When we got there they told me when they heard it was me they didn't even have to look up and said I was the best puppy mom and gave me rave reviews. 😭😭😭 So I got to tell them that we got her!

I'm crying. Best anniversary present ever. ❤️
Woohoo!! She is absolutely adorable!! 💜
Going to meet her tomorrow. Doing the whole family meet before take home on the 6th. I would bring Tyger tomorrow, but he got a shot today and isn't feeling great due to his allergies giving him a secondary infection.
Went and spent time with Leeloo (name change) today. I'm in love, she keep coming up to me too. I feel like she knows I'm home. She'll go play with her siblings, then come back over and give me kisses.
We're going to do a meet with grumpy old man, Tyger on the 4th and take her home on the 6th.

Looking for a forever home for these two gremlins. Left is Cassandra. She's a mega sweetheart who loves cuddling. Right is Polyxena. She's more aloof to people and prefers sleeping in the windowsill to the bed. But she's still really nice also. Just not constantly in my face like Cass.
