Unless they plan to release it on a Friday, weekend, or Monday, they're going to be beat to the punch by Bonnaroo (held a couple months later). The wait-til-the-last-minute-to-start-booking idea might not have been so good for business.

I think thats been the word on the street everyday this week. I hope for everyone going they they get an announcement this week. I couldnt stand that anticipation. Knowing a for sure date for the Roo announcement still has me going crazy.

I don't think so. Line one referred to Coachella's ineptitude, Line Two to an above post including about the three dozenth reference to a bunch of kids (presumably on the lawn) that I've seen here lately.

the new page for coachella is up ... its been up for a couple of hours .... this is kind of a joke, tell them on the board you know canexplain, and they will usually leave you alone ..... well cept a group of 4 ... yea that board is something else unless you hang there a lot and get to know them ..i pity all the ne00bies that go there ... cr****

Ugh...just woke up from a pretty nice little dream.

Anyway, the lineup's not bad. Not the best Coachella lineup ever, but highlights that stand out immediately for me are...

Friday: The Beatle I Don't Like, Leonard Cohen, Beirut, The Bug
Saturday: TVOTR, Henry Rollins, Cloud Cult
Sunday: The Cure, MBV, THROBBING GRISTLE, X

The best day, to me, is Sunday. It's not even close. My guess is whatever took so long to negotiate involves the Sahara Tent as it appears they held back on the Sahara Tent headliner each night.
