Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Question. Is anyone here going to be passing through northern Alabama by any chance? I know someone who has tickets but needs a ride. I can't afford to make the detour but I told her I'd ask around at least.
Officially on VACATION! I'm not sure when I'll leave here to start driving yet but I can't wait to see you all! I'll be the wizard with the blue light saber!

No Bootsy or Roots peeps during all star jam. Only surprise was a bunch of cheesed*cks filling up the photographer's area during superjam and acting like tards by dancing around with a huge rage stick and obstructing the view for those that had waited to be on the rail.
my favorite sets: 1. BOOTSY, BABY 2. Kung Fu (friday) 3. Bonobo 4. Kung Fu (thursday) 5. The Motet (friday) 6. Toubabe Krew (friday) 7. All Star Jam 8. Galactic (friday) 9. Toubabe Krew (thursday) 10. Lee Fields & the Expressions The Roots set was pretty weird/random and I was more entertained by all the spun people dancing and running around than their music/set.
Fest was great as always. We got rained on nearly everyday, but it was a light rain and was mostly late nite early morning so it didn't disturb the music too much.

Our first Bear Creek was a lot of fun! We missed Thursday, but I really loved the layout of SOSMP and the campground amenities. Loop Camping FTW!
Top Sets for me were: 1. Chali 2Na 2. Bonobo 3. BOOTSY 4. Jennifer Hartswick (Sunday - especially the Heart & Talking Heads covers) 5. Skerik's Orchestra at Large (really the beginning where it was just him & Mike Dillon)
Monophonics & Antibalas were pretty killer as well.
Had so much fun this year. The weather was great, even though it rained here and there, would rather be a little wet then freezing. Only met one asshat all weekend, which is always nice. Found a new festival Buddy, Mr. Token. And got to meet more of the Inforoo folks, even if only briefly.
The Short Cut Camp was simply amazing. Was a blast seeing peoples reactions as they came through. Thanks for taking the time to set that up everyone.
Favorite sets:
Tiny Universe Friday (Zach Deputy doing Ray Charles songs simply amazing)
Bootsy (got me a sweaty Bootsy Hug and got to dance with him, so much fun)
Dumpstaphunk
Galactic (Friday)
The Revivalists
The Motet (Friday)
Antibalas
Toubab Krewe
All Star Jam
Roosevelt Collier Nigel Hall's Gospel Surprise
Once again the venue, the people, and the music make this one of my favorite places to be, can't wait to see what next year brings.

My Bear Creek was 99.9% perfect except for one lady on Sunday who told me she didn't like Skerik because of all the "Satanic music" he was playing. That's when I knew our conversation was coming to a close...
I think I'm officially a hippy after all that funk.
Seeing your Instagrams and the pics from the BC Facebook feed made me realize how much I truly miss Spirit Of Suwanee. I'm definitely going to try and make it back for one of their fests next year.

We had an amazing time, we got in early Wednesday and camped at SCC, it was great hanging out with everyone. This has become my favorite festival of the year. I love the music, weather and overall feeling of what's going down there over any other festival we attend. My favorite sets of the week were:
1. Roots 2. Kung Fu 3. The Revivalists 4. Zach D 5. Galactic 6. Toubabe Krewe 7. Jenifer Hartswick Band 8. Bootsy Collins 9. Cope 10. Bonobo
Bootsy and Bonobo are probably a bit higher up that list but I really enjoyed all of those shows.
That guitarist from Kung Fu is a legitimate guitar hero. The Revivalist's singer is a superstar in waiting. Nikki Glasbie is equal parts Neil Peart and Zigaboo Modeliste. Bootsy is a Funk God. No band has ever got me to dance like The Roots did.
Holy FUNK! What a week. If anybody out there likes the Funk, I highly suggest you check out Bear Creek next year. The Roots sounded awesome and from what I could tell the Lettuce/Dumpsta Jam was a melting spaceship of cosmic funk. Bonobo was a surreal experience. Her voice is mesmerizing. Karl D and the Tiny Universe were on point. Greenhouse lounge gets better with every show. Having a friend, on stage, to start the Zach Deputy show, ask his GF's for her hand in marriage, was very memorable and gave me and others just enough energy to be jumping around 5pm on Sunday. Lee Field's on Friday and the Gospel Surprise on Sunday had me whipping away tears of Joy. Certain voices do it for me and I agree David Shaw of the Revivalists is one of those voices. Them and Galactic always entertain me greatly. Jennifer Hartswick also has that voice. Nikki Glaspie is a drumming machine. I am not convinced, but she might just be a robot. But my fav of the week. It was killing my buzz when Bootsy was late for his set at Roo a few years back, but after this week, he went far and beyond and redeemed himself. Being close enough to get the sweat of Bootsy in my eye made for one of the funnest shows I have ever been a part of. Having Old Gregg next to me, while Bootsy was slappin' that bass, was just icing on the cake. It was funking funktastic! Think you all for making SCC what it is. I love SCC and how it is growing. Next time we will have a set time for the Jedi sword fight, and not be so vague. Other than that, I think SCC was funking badass. Token is was nice to meet you and I look forward to your participation in future fest, next time you better camp with us. That is if you want to. I met a lot of new people this year and I look forward to seeing you all at SOSMP next time. Video of the trail coming soon...
