It seems threads are getting hijacked in order to compare the performances of Jack White and Kanye West. Instead of filling up those threads, how about you guys just have at it in here so the other threads can keep their focus of a singular artist on track.
So let's hear all about it, who did you like better? Who put on a better show? Who is the biggest asshole? Whose rants had the most substance? Throw it all out - hold nothing back for...

Both are amazing, both are polarizing but that's way better than them being boring and conventional, and I count myself lucky that I'm around to see both in their artistic prime.
Jack had inspirational rants and thanked everyone for staying with him all night. He also played an extremely diverse set and got the whole place rockin, front to back.
Kanye told us to quack ourselves and didn't even play a full song, and anyone that was not in the pit and far in the back either heckled the performance the whole time or left.
Going in to Bonnaroo, I wasn't a major fan of either. Wasn't terribly familiar with either artist's music, though I leaned more towards Jack White because he's more along my style.
I've heard amazing things about Kanye's music and his stage show, so I planned on hanging in the back of the field to see what the fuss was about. What I got was no side screens so I couldn't even tell if he was actually up there. That was strike 1 for me. Then he would stop songs and start talking about I'm not sure what. It seemed like he was just very, very angry. But at least he was angry at everything. The music didn't do anything to pull me in, either. I've read that he had amazing energy. I wish I could've felt that. Unfortunately, I couldn't see him, so have no idea if he was just standing there or bouncing around the stage. I was pretty disappointed that there wasn't a glimmer of the "amazing stage show" people have talked about. I went back to camp, which was just behind the What field, and listened from there. When he would stop a song and start yelling about things, it took away from the music, imo. I was hoping to see what others see in him, but from that performance, I'm still as indifferent as ever.
I went into Jack White expecting the same things as I did for Kanye (and really for any headliner). I watched from the VIP hill and was happy to actually SEE him and his band because of the screens. He looked like he was enjoying himself, and that came through in his music. When he paused to talk (in between songs), I understood the messages he was trying to get across, even though he went about it in a round about way at times. I felt like he was playing FOR us and talking TO us, as opposed to playing for himself and talking AT us (as I felt Kanye did). The music was amazing and I loved how the entire band just looked HAPPY to be there. I ended up leaving early to get a spot for the superjam, and am kicking myself for doing that now. I'm happy that I was able to see the whole set through the power of YouTube and am even more disappointed for missing half of it.
So for me, the better all around performer between the two is Jack White.

Source for these outrageously false statements?
I have videos of constant booing. Where I was (pretty far back), there wasn't a single person who thought it was a good performance.
Just FYI, I went to Pusha T, Asap Ferg, and Wiz and loved them all way better than Kanye.

Did you take a poll? How many people were in your immediate vicinity? It's a pretty big field. How about literally everything else in that sentence that you completely made up? I was in the pit and I'm pretty sure that Kanye didn't tell me to go fuck myself, nor did he fail to play a full song

My god, how are Kanye haters so fucking delusional?

If you think about it, the same could be said for the followers.

Who do you think would be nicer if you saw them in public? For some reason, I'm thinking Kanye.
If you were about to be tempted to do something bad, and Kanye/Jack White appeared on each of your shoulders, which one would be the angel and which the demon?
Kanye was the best set I saw that weekend. Saying this, I'm very happy for the people that enjoyed their time at Jack White, and think it's awesome that so many folks seemed to have had a good time.

Didn't need to take a poll, I was way in the back on the field. No where near the pit. I know if I was in the pit I would have had a better time, however from where I was, the hordes of people who were leaving and booing was incredible. I stayed till about 11:45 then left. Looking back, he did play a few "full" songs... so my bad there.
But still, it was the worst performance I have ever experienced, period. I attribute it mainly to the crowd of people in the field leaving and booing the whole time, but I don't blame them because at some points he just needed to shut up and play.

Possibly, but not to the point where I make a statement that has absolutely no truth to it. Kanye did not tell anyone to go fuck themselves, he didn't even say anything negative about this years audience. He played a ton of full songs, and I wasn't in the pit, and everyone all around me was enjoying the show as much as I was. What he said couldn't have been more wrong, and I'm sure he legitimately believes it's the truth. It's absolutely mind blowing

So you understand that the people who were booing were in the wrong but....... choose not to blame them as Kanye should have been playing songs? Ok..... Also, you do know people leave headliner performances in a constant stream at every headlining performance since the dawn of time, right???
I didn't say the performance was the worst, I said my experience was. If I was closer and in the pit I am sure my experience would have been better. Since I was surrounded by people who were booing, it made it bad. So.... I am blaming them, not Kanye.
