So this band USED to be "nannies", in other words. Are there any bands out there that used to be called something relating to a female goat?
Run with this.

People, please stop with the sensless answers. Try to explain your reasoning behind your answer.
You must not know how these threads work.
If everyone else can guess Radiohead, Bowie, White Stripes, and Paul McCartney without giving reasons then I can guess PINK FLOYD every time.
And sorry you didn't find my joke funny. I think I put PINK FLOYD in every clue thread (much like many people have seriously done with other bands in many other threads).

i found there's a book called the nanny diaries written by two former nannies. And there's a movie from it staring Scarlet Johansson, who does sing. I'm l;ooking at the soundtrack trying to see if theres anything about it that would bring an answer.

Sweet, I did a thing!
So, running with that idea, we have "Sun shines on these former goats." Or something along those lines. If we actually think Mountain Goats, wiki lists a lot of former members and/or collaborators and associated acts and stuff like that. I don't know much about them, but since it says kids and/or nannies - as in plural goats - I think we can rule out solo performers who worked with Mountain Goats like Annie Clark and Kaki King.
What's jumping out to me is The Extra Lens, which is John Darnielle (Mountain Goats) and Franklin Bruno (who's a former/sometimes member of Mountain Goats). The Extra Lens used to be The Extra Glenns, so the repeated sound could account for the second half of the clue. And although Darnielle isn't a FORMER Goat, wiki says The Extra Glenns released an album including some previously unreleased Mountain Goats songs, so I guess you could maybe say those SONGS were former Goats. And sun shining on a lens could make some sort of sense...moreso than anything else I saw connected to Mountain Goats.
But like I said, I don't know anything about these people/bands/etc. And even though it definitely seems to be something to do with goats, it very well may not have anything to do with Mountain Goats.

Another possibility might be Mike Dillon's Go-Go Jungle, although I know NOTHING about them and have no idea if they'd be remotely likely for a clue.
But the band appears to be made up of former members of the band Billy Goat (and with our clue mentioning kids and nannies, the billy goat would be the one other member of the family). And the "Go-Go" could account for the sound persistence / repetition thing.
But my guess is that they're not clue-worthy, but like I said I know nothing about 'em.
