i think this year will be my last year at roo. part of it is being 41, but the other part is the turn its been taking in recent years. I'll let the kids take over now
No one gets to see the results of the survey except for them, obviously. So come next year, they'll tack on a price tag for camping and say "based upon our survery results, yall said you'd pay". (Clearly the survery wont say that) And then they'll say "But dont worry, its actually $75, not $175". That's why they made it so much in the survey, so they can say they discounted it.

This has to be a fake right? People have already bought presale.
That's why I'm stressing. Pre-sale here and no mention of buying additional tickets. I'm so confused and I hope it isn't true. I guess I'm committed to buy a parking pass at this point but fuck.
And also... what the fuck about pre-sale??? I'm so confused.
Thats what i really don't understand, are they just going to gift if to the people who already have a resale ticket or are they going to make them pay for that too. If its not that 1st option, then levitation has some splaining to do because thats some shady shit.
I've already purchased presale -- there will be a lot of unhappy campers if Bonnaroo tries to say that camping was not already included in presale ticket prices.

Yea, fuck those Levitation bastards in Austin! All their fault!
If true, it's just a bad roll-out. If it's included if you bought pre-sale, then they should have announced it before presale as another incentive to get tix early. If it's an added fee, then people who bought presale with the price increase from last year are gonna be pissed they had to pay 60 bucks more on top of that.
It won't keep people from going regardless, it just seems like it would have been a better idea to roll this out in 2017 and make it another incentive to buy the Black Friday tix.
So what do you do with your car if you go to Tent City since it says you don't need a pass for it. OHHHH, I bet they will do like they tried to do before...only people who come in with no car can go to tent only.

"The Car Camping Pass will grant you one parking spot and one adjacent camping space"
So a car with 2 people will be granted the same amount of space as a car full of 6 people? Not only does this disincentivize carpooling but it's just plain stupid. This, along with presale complications, leads me to believe that this is fake and not actually being implemented.

Who confirmed there will be tent only this year?

Just reading the print at the bottom of that screen shot that said VIP, Groop, RV Oasis, and Tent City people didn't need passes.

It sounds like it's business as normal at roo, but they worded it funny. I could be wrong though. Also, I don't require much camping space so if any of you turn out to be my neighbors, you can literally camp wall to wall to me and I'll be glad to give what room I can. Love yall.

That's how camping worked anyway though? You just didn't have to pay for it

There is a mix-up on terminology here.
Tent City = Tent setup for you ahead of time.
Ten Only = Camping with your own tent without a car. This is what they almost made people do only if they showed up on feet. From whaT I can tell, Tent Only is not confirmed.

tent only people gotta park their cars somewhere. so your standard tent only patron will still need to buy a parking pass. who the hell walks onto the farm? I walked on after parking at the winery one day two years ago and it was a nightmare.

totally right. Didn't notice the difference at all. sorry about that!

That's correct, I'm just pointing out a massive missed opportunity by Bonnaroo to have subliminal incentives for carpooling. This is business as usual as nerdbyrd pointed out, but it still just blows my mind how they continually miss out on these chances to be intelligent with their policy changes.

ooohhhhh, yeah, that's right. Didn't even think about those very expensive things!

my concern here now is others will assume tent only as well and not buy parking passes.
